  1. I've tried to follow this thread but it's pretty harrowing - just to be clear are we now saying this lunatic is "operating" in and around SE22?
  2. Curious to know in reality what this means? I hope the council built into the tender process some promise of investment into the centres (ongoing), a hold on membership prices, and some fairly stringent KPI's....
  3. If you've got the leads I'll pop over and you can jump it off mine?
  4. is there any way we can influence this? I've never been there and not had to queue.
  5. I'm thinking of moving to Sky Q. What is everyone's experience of Sky Broadband? I'm in the Overhill Road area.

    Fox repellent

My back garden is currently the sight for an almost nightly fox orgy. I managed to pee in the garden last year and i think it helped.
  7. Sure;y part of the application process to be a seller would require a H&S certificate or other such applicable regulation. in the world we live in, there are always disruptable ways to satsfy legislation in new ways. @Franckfoodie - keep me informed, sounds really interesting.

    Delay Repay

Yes, I am the first to complain about the fare rises. The service gets worse every year. I don't see the issue.
  9. Agreed on the hamlet. Take your friends there, they'll enjoy it more.
  10. I'm not a fan of either of those clubs but went to watch Charlton last weekend. ?17, and plenty of tickets..... I had fun but the standard of football is not great.

    Delay Repay

We've been discussing this in the office. If you travel on a monthly ticket i don't see a way that they can track exactly which journey you were on. I think as long as you're not claiming more than one per day in any direction it becomes untrackable..... unless they can track when you put your ticket through the barrier machines? I'm a big fan of the automation and eas in clawing some money back for an awful service!

    Delay Repay

Only really works for mainline trains but this site is just brilliant in getting your money back. http://www.delayrepaysniper.com/index_test.cfm
  13. you are knocking it. "snot in wannabe ash trays" Just be consistent. and try and be nicer.
  14. Louisa you argue against people for the same reason they argue against you. You judge people on their choices and presume to know their underlying motives whilst also being defensive against your own views on such things. Please tell me you realise this and are playing up to it......the other option being your are really as lacking in self awareness as people imply you are.

So presumptuous. Why do you think you know what people actually think, feel or like? I like Oysters, you don't. Who actually cares.
  16. Any recommendations for anyone? I fear we may have left it too late......required for 9th July.
  17. No , West Sussex....the Hyde estate
  18. Thanks all @GroveLaneMan - a good day out may be impacting my decision somewhat!
  19. That's fantastic advice thank you.
  20. I'm putting together a spreadsheet and trying to work out the best way to but the alcohol for my wedding. I want to supply it all to my guests and we are having the reception at a venue that doesn't charge corkage. I have worked out my requirements and am pulling all the prices from major supermarkets and wholesalers. I also want to do a recce to Calais to see if there are any savings to be made doing it that way. Does the personal limit on bringing booze back count per vehicle or per person? If I hired a van and took a friend would we be able to bring double the amount back? Has anyone recently been to Calais? Once you ahve added in ferry costs and van rental does it work out any cheaper?
  21. Weathergirl or friend is a local baker as a side job, she's doing ours. Pm me f you'd like her details!
  22. My dad swears by going to any supermarket on xmas eve, about 16:00 and they all get really cheap....
