So "How political are politicians allowed to be on here?"... in discussions about politics they are allowed to be as political as they want however when their replies should just be factual then I would rather they leave it out as it's annoying and discolours the neutral and independent flag that the forum flies. I don't know about the specific comment(s) in question but 'electioneering' and 'point winning' comments are a habitually sprinkled into political speak by candidates, sometimes they do get a bit carried away however I have recently had a quiet word with someone to leave the politics out of it.
