  1. You are best putting posts like this ie aimed at me in the 'About the forum' section as I don't come in here very often, or better still send me a PM. The answer you are looking for is here http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?12,454870, it's not good news I'm afraid.
  2. Can we keep the vans issue on the vans thread please as posts are just being duplicated. Thank you.
  3. What Keef said
  4. Can we keep this thread about "Constituency Maps" please.
  5. Can we keep this thread about "Overloaded with election-related literature" please.
  6. Hi Like I said, threads that were started more than six months ago in the What's on, For Sale and Wanted section were deleted. Sorry for any inconvenience.
  7. To be honest I have never heard of this embargo and I think it would be too hard to police, but I will continue keep an eye on electioneering and smear campaigns that appear on the forum and act on them.
  8. Hi Your post "FAO cllr barber>>>" was deleted because you were trying to score political points by posting something in the ED issues /gossip section (again) that was having a go at the councillor. As it was for the attention of Councillor Barber I suggest contacting him directly. I do not want the forum to be a platform for people to start threads that are simply having a go at councillors, MPs etc.
  9. I think the time has now come. Lounged
  10. Unless this goes back on topic, this thread will shortly be moved to the Lounge.
  11. Rather than allow this thread to become focussed on memorials please discuss this issue further on the memorials thread so that we can allow this one to stay on topic. Additionally on the Brake website there is Information for families wishing to erect roadside memorials which contains relevant information.
  12. It was simply a case of me pressing the 'delete threads that were started more then six months ago' button to clean up the database, unfortunately there is not a 'leave the most popular threads' option.
  13. Deleted as in gone forever I'm afraid. The football thread is in the Lounge so that was untouched.
  14. Nope, it was me, the forum's database was so big (2Gb+) that I deleted threads that were more than 6 months old from the What's on, For Sale and Wanted section. In doing so I seem to have deleted some threads like yours and some book club ones, so apologies for that.
  15. Unfortunately we have to put a limit on the file size as all those files take up lots of space on the server, the files alone stand at an impressive 1Gb of server space. You can certainly get good pictures at that size, in Picasa export try exporting at normal setting and playing with the image dimensions.
  16. OK, I have found the list http://www.southwark.gov.uk/download/4075/statement_of_persons_nominated_and_notice_of_poll I need to work out a way to get the two polls on the site without them taking over the site.
  17. Sorry ????, I can't find out the unique views per message, but to the site to the site in general... it was 3,015 yesterday. A local election poll is a good idea, can someone please point me to a list of parties standing and I will look into it.
  18. I confess it was me, "Goose Green incident" was a bit general so I added that other bit to the title to be more specific. Next year when people refer to the Goose Green incident, instead of saying "which one?" they'll say "oh I know, the one with the black Golf". That is the intention anyway, apologies if it confused.
  19. I believe it is an election issue, which is why I am asking you to take it to the Drawing Room. I did not remove your earlier posts because I did not read them all, just the one that had a link to a political party, so I stepped in. Now please let this thread get back on topic.
  20. I said I am being strict so please do not post a link to a page on other party's website which has the title "Tory Housing Shame", asking the councillor to click on it. Ask a question or tell about an East Dulwich issue which he can assist with. PM him with bigger election issues or ask them in The Drawing Room.
  21. As mentioned before I am being strict on this thread, it is not about electioneering it is about the councillor helping out on East Dulwich issues. I have removed some posts, especially the one that ended "parents in East Dulwich and Peckham Rye ward can show their displeasure ... by voting for the Labour Candidates." Please use the Drawing Room for election talk.
  22. re. spoilt ballots, because there is no differentiation between intentionally and unintentionally spoilt ballots in an election ballot and in both cases neither count, we will not ask about them.
  23. There are systems in place to prevent multiple voting but it can't detect those who really want to cheat the systems.
  24. When you look at a picture in Picasa there is an export button at the bottom, click on that. You will have to experiment with the saving options to make sure they get below the 614k limit.
  25. Unfortunately I cannot lock this thread without locking the poll so please do not post messages below here. I will look into showing a total number of votes at the bottom of the graph. Questions or comments about this poll can be posted in the EDF Election Poll thread.
