Secondly, you were been banned previously for threatening people and then you were allowed back in. It is a discussion about football on a local forum, it should be fun and friendly but your attitude is continually aggressive and therefore unwanted.
  3. Jah Lush has shown me that he's ready to behave and is back in the room.
  4. Jah Lush and Titch Juicy are banned for a week for swearing and insulting others after I recently asked people to stop it. Next time it will be a red.
  5. It is generally about house prices in East Dulwich so yes it is in the right place. Please keep it on topic about house prices in East Dulwich or it will be moved to the Lounge.
  6. I am seeing a number on rachelkw's post "Her contact is 07864 077087. she also does...", do you see that number?
  7. Hi sanity girl No idea I'm afraid, it is certainly not intentional. Could you show me some posts where the numbers have been deleted from public posts and we will investigate.
  8. Hi KalamityKel A message has been put up in the ED issues/gossip section to remind people to behave and hi Zaardvark There was drop off in users returning but they seemed to return in the new year, see here http://eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/images/edfstats12126.jpg Here's some other stats for you: We now have 13,494 registered users of which 10,192 have posted. In the last month there have been1,827,278 page views 9:35 minutes is the average time on the Site Last Monday there were 2,989 unique user on the site (it is about 2,800 a weekday average, 2,300 at the weekend) I hope that answers your question
  9. Hi computedshorty Would it be possible for you to summarise exactly what you mean in the above post, and what action you would like myself and the team to take in order to deal with the issue(s) raised. Thank you
  10. We have not really made a decision on what to do on the forum about the political parties. If they can come on here and debate about East Dulwich issues then that is fine, but we do not want them advertising and electioneering (someone has been told off for this already, and duly apologised). The James Barber thread is actually useful to people in East Dulwich and he knows not to use it to advertise politics, it is simply to help people in East Dulwich. We cannot monitor all threads so if you notice blatant advertising please do report it, it is appreciated.
  11. Moved to the Lounge as there is already a thread about how the councillor can help with East Dulwich issues in the ED Issues/Gossip section
  12. Please keep this thread and discussion about East Dulwich and things that directly affect East Dulwich. I would like it to remain useful and about ED issues, not just a place for people to have a rant about political parties.

  14. Please stop it, I cannot be bothered having to deal with complaints from men about grown men calling each other names. "Oh your team's rubbish", "well you're a dick", "you calling me a dick?", "yeah so what if I am, dick?", "my team could have your team" etc etc. This is a discussion about football, there is bound to be some friction but please try and keep it friendly. This is only applicable to some of you, consider this a yellow card to those involved.
  15. Narnia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Fair enough but I changed mine without requesting it. Was my security at risk? Did you have to change your name for security reasons? If yes, then yes. If no, then no.
  16. You can change your password by clicking the link that says "Change Password" on the left. The change username option is only available irregularly for a brief period when someone has to change their name for security reasons. It is difficult to administer so we do not do it very often.
  17. It should allow you to access and change your email, password, signature, privacy options too. Are you not able to see those?
  18. Please stay on topic
  19. Moved to the Lounge because it is in Nunhead
  20. Nothing happened, not that we know of anyway.
  21. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > www.thegooseisout.com > > That's not a signature mods, it's our website > address ..... It is good to know you now know the difference :)
  22. Thanks Siduhe The recommendations page is the "ED businesses, restaurants & trades" section where people can "Ask for recommendations, feedback and discuss East Dulwich businesses and services. "
  23. iaineasy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is that not an easy thing for you to write into the code? Hi No, it is not easy to write into the code. Allowing people to delete threads stops them from being responsible for what they write i.e. if they cannot delete it then they will be more careful about what they write. However having that functionality in the wanted and offered section could be a good idea to keep it tidy. In reply to Karter's point the tiny amount of people who would delete old posts would have no effect on the memory or the smooth running of the forum.
  24. Hi Unfortunately there is not a universal "Reset all posts" button, but you can see them all in one place for each section on the home page. There is not an ignore function however it is agreed that it would be useful. I believe it is available on the new version of the forum software but upgrading is a job which we are avoiding doing because it's scary.
  25. Please keep this on topic, Louisa and her whereabouts can be discussed in the Lounge, with a large, stiff drink.
