The RSPCA have been called, seen that the dog is well looked after and everything is ok. I have removed the post describing the dog and owner to avoid further upset. I would ask people to not make personal attacks on each other.

Without wanting to take it too far off topic, what do people think of East Dulwich Forum tours? I may show people around the workings of the place, the historic old water wheel and cogs that used to power this place and then onto the new NASA-like control centre where a crack team of moderators watch over everything. For those who are brave enough they can visit the wee-smelling dungeon where the bad and terrible go, it is a bit like Tron crossed with Prisoner Cell Block H.

I do not think there is currently a need, they have only posted a few new threads on the forum and generally use it to interact with people in a decent fashion. It is better for them to discuss issues with people in the General East Dulwich issues/section of the forum rather than creating a Politicians section that most people would avoid. However if they spam the forum by continually promoting themselves they will be told off.

Please keep this discussion about football and keep the offensiveness down.

It is still undergoing testing and just to clarify, it is a tube that plugs into the USB slot of the keyboard which you must blow into every 30 minutes to be allowed access to the forum. To stop people getting their sober family member to blow into the tube, the tube will check that the correct mouth is blowing the tune by means of a microchip implant into the lower lip which will come free with forum membership. An intravenous drip version will also be available (for a small fee) to users who find it difficult to regularly to breathe into a tube.

As explained to Lady Muck earlier, Bigbadwolf was warned nine times in the last four and a half months about his behaviour. Each of these are caused by people complaining to Admin and the team. He has been temporarily banned a few times, allowed back a few times and following those warnings he continually offends people again. Please remember this is not just people saying "I think this message could be offensive" but people saying "I am offended by what I have read". Nine warnings in four and a half months is so much more than we should be dealing with and the fact they are for one person makes us think why wasn't he banned permanently before. It's a good forum, he makes it fun for a few but he spoils it for more and makes life hard for the team that run it which is not appreciated. There have to be rules for something like the forum to run smoothly and that is why it works well, they are not heavily enforced rules (unless they really have to be) and BBW has been given so many warnings and reprieves and then continually taken the mickey that we just have to put a stop to it.

Lounged because it is not an ED issue or gossip, it is someone expressing their opinion about mothers.

Hi sophiesofa, that would be a great feature as people posting messages posting in the wrong section is too common, unfortunately it is not possible unless we get someone to programme the feature for us. It is on out list of "nice to haves" for the forum and hopefully we could work something out one day.
