  1. I think you're up to here so far, Alan. Just 1000 or so left to go. You can do it! When they're all gone - you're clean. It's like they never happened.
  2. Remember that there's no shame in posting a few thousand times on internet forums - only in deleting your posts afterwards, like a fool. Moreover, if you're going to look at the porn, you might as well be having a w@nk as well. You're only fooling yourself otherwise. Think about it Alan. You're only fooling yourself.

  4. How many of your old posts will you be deleting today, Alan? I suppose some of them were a little embarrassing. If only you hadn't been a total plum and used your real name! You live and learn though, don't you?
  5. Which dog did you get in the end, Alan?
  6. Sure, Al. Just the 1500 yourself. But then of course the SE5 forum takes up some of your time. Then there's Camberwell online. Guess you like to spread your loneliness around.
  7. How nice of you to pop-up on my anniversary. I'm having a party (we won't be going on late).
  8. I'm a hundred and four, Alan - as well you know.
  9. I don't just mean to be argumentative for the sake of it (for a change).. 'the elderly' thing is just a bit of a personal bugbear..

No, I don't. That's because families with young children and shift workers find that their 'hours' ie when they must function and when they must sleep, are often decided on account of having young children and being shift workers. 'The elderly' are not. They can be tired, or active. Miserable as sin or full of life. In the instance of this thread, whether or not they object to party noise is not decided simply on account of them being 'the elderly'.
  11. Err... ? ? ? you what?

Boy oh boy - seems you really do know how to put a rocket up this place after all. Whoop!

I think I must have heard this approximately five hundred times now, all accompanied by a sagely nod. And after painting nearly all the places I've lived in, I can confirm that it's absolute balls.
  14. You're right, Moos.. this one is sh1t.
  15. I'm a loafer-at-home (like many on here) with no boss to grovel to as such; but for me, posting on here is a symptom rather than a cause. If it wasn't this then it would doubtless be something else. I'm lazy, easily distracted and lack focus. I expect I could double my earnings by fixing these things, but to be honest, I enjoy being lazy, distracted and lacking focus - which I guess means I can't be that bothered about the money either.
  16. It did imply otherwise, but I wouldn't worry about it. You're hardly alone in lumping 'the elderly' together as one homogenised bunch without giving it too much thought.
  17. Ohhh... 'those elderly'.. yes, it must be time to patronise the elderly - yet again. It's been all of a few weeks since 'the elderly' were deemed incapable of dealing with junk mail. 'The elderly' I know, 80+, love a good party on a special occasion. I've come to the conclusion that - not exceptionally but in the main - the people who don't like a party at 80 probably didn't like one at 40 either. Age has nothing to do with it.

  19. 'He' is no tw@t. He.. is The Axeman. And he's here to tell it like it is. There's a new show in town - you betcha.
  20. Sorry to hear about your hunch, Brum. I didn't know.

  22. Please! I have truly had my heart cleft in twain by your fearsome words. Blub.
  23. Can I have one as well, please? Seeing as they're being dished-out like sweeties today.
  24. If there's anything else you'd like to 'ban' - and then describe yourself doing in your next post - be sure to let us know. Durrr...
