  2. Guy Ritchie gangstery filums. Watch them alright, but be left with a feeling of 'meh' afterwards.

I'm taking a punt here, Annasfield, but I'm reckoning that Brendan may have considered it to have seemed absolutely splendid in theory. Mind, he's left the outcome open. Outcome? Open? Tequila? Guinness? Sounds absolutely spilled, in fact.
  4. 2-4-6-8 Motorway - Tom Robinson Band
  5. Lambeth Town Hall, perhaps? Thems pretty strident bells and could carry. On a clear night they might even carry the offers of t'ings from the drug dealers who congregate outside the Ladbrookes opposite said civic centre.

Stop that TASE, we don't encoursge violence. Though if the economic downturn or whatever it is starts to bite Fabric and Target Arms might consider a merger. I'd go for Guns & Ruches if I were them.

  10. Brendan, has a conductor ever peered over the lectern, pointed at you with his baton and said "Sir, you have an instrument between your legs that can bring pleasure to many but all you can do is scratch it"? Or was that someone else?

  17. Oh no. It wasn't. Was it?

The difference between shaking and waggling being? The one on the right, obviously. The one on the right, obviously. But I'd give him one of my looks. By 'in public', do you mean al fresco?

  24. But are they folding SimonM? I bet you end up dropping stuff all over the floor as the chopped victuals are tranported from work surface to pot. Obviously they can be retreived from the floor, but if one has had a couple of glasses of the good stuff this can lead to staggerage and possible head injury. Also if a fellow is to keep salvaging food from the floor he'd have to attend to its hygiene more often than rthan once every four or five weeks, and it does so eat into one's time. So I give you the chop2pot, "An indirect end to floor washing misery". And as for wood SimonM, I'd shun it because of the rain forests and all that. Plastics the future round these parts.
