  1. I always had it as either 'pinch, punch first of the month and no returns' or 'white rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits'
  2. Two questions PR, if you were voting what song would you vote for? And how come he interviewed you?
  3. Also why aren't these nebishes making more jokes and references about sralan. 'I was trying to sweeten the pot sralan' 'I'm voting him out because he puffs himself up sralan' 'I think I should stay in sralan because I'm the sort of person who won't leave until the job's done and demerara than hen's teeth these days' 'I'm not one to caster spersions sralan...' 'How much did you pay for your knighthood sralan'? etc. And also at least one team should walk into the boardroom very very quietly humming Sugar Sugar by The Archies. I reckon ratings would rocket.

It's easy Kells just say 'In the name of the Father' and the first hand to touch your forehead is your right one. Easy. I didn't spot this part as I only really watch the beginning and the boardroom bits, also I didn't bother with it until two weeks ago but was pretty well briefed by various conversations I listened to on the radio and from overheard conversations at work. Not a patch on the US original. Donald Trump, a man whose name can mean either a superior suit or a fart, or in his case a combination of the two and who dared to have two different barbers cut his hair at the same time.
  5. RATS is a fine choice Quids and would be the choice of many a long time MTH fan, but the original single version with the guitaring from Mick Ralphs and the spoken part by one of Thunderthighs. I found the album version with Ariel Bender's guitar weedy and Lyndsey DePaul's spoken part too arch for my liking. But no doubt it will make a good showing.
  6. Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes
  7. Exactly *Bob*, exactly.

Only in Dulwich > :) Or a DulwichMum column.
  9. I'll follow BP as he was a minute earlier. Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell - The Stooges
  10. There appears to be a paucity of characters in ED. Where are the Whately Road Tramps when you need them?
  11. But in fairness *Bob* it could also have been Robert Elms.

Violence, JL quite a niche choice that, however you can only vote for one and the show compiles the top four most popular. So which one would you go with?

I think I spotted you, Yosemite Sam lookalike right? You came a stompin' out, paused, did a double take and rubbed your eyes, then went back in rubbed your eyes once more and walked out again muttering something about 'young uns and womenfolk'.
  15. I Wanna Be Me - The Sex Pistols
  16. Oh Satan's toenails, literally as i was posting that, bloody Elms has now said we vote for Ian Hunter solo tracks as well. I wish he hadn't done that, the tool. So I can now throw in Once Bitten Twice Shy, It Ain't Easy When You Fall, Boy, Shades Off, The Truth The Whole Truth Nothing But The Truth, Irene Wilde, All American Alien Boy, Standing In My Light, Bastard, Michael Picasso and many more. I'll have to give this some thought.
  17. ...is Mott The Hoople. For those unaware of this spot it's a weekly feature where RE invites people to vote on their favourite song from a particular singer/group and plays the four most popular. I'm guessing it'll be the latter part of their career that gets he most votes. I'm torn between Angel Of Eighth Avenue, No Wheels To Ride, The Moon Upstairs, All The Young Dudes and All The Way From Memphis. Of course I realise this a completely self-indulgent thread, though of course if I was being that self-indulgent I'd be considering Honaloochie Boogie. Anyone else got any MTH faves they're going to vote for.
  18. I Wanna Be Your Dog - The Stoogesh
  19. It's an opportunity to introduce custard pies to the comedies.

Actually Brendan this thread has now taken a swerve and all I'm concerned about is whether you'll be selling tickets for the sight of you 'reproducing'.
  21. Kids, the more the merrier. Bring them up with a strong work ethic so they will be contributing taxes to my pension when I'm an old and curmudgeonly git. Some will even go on to be doctors, nusrses and social workers, all of whom I may have need of. I'm quite prepared for any minor inconvenience when they're growing up, having to walk in the gutter because bugaboos (a sort of pram I believe) are blocking the pavement, having to insert earplugs in certain pubs and not laughing when one them slips on his little arse. So carry on breeding and you don't need to stop at two or even three, have as many as you like. Shag on good people.
  22. Alone Again Naturally - Gilbert O'Sullivan
  23. Anyone who does that is a right bastard. What do you think?
  24. Always feeling it Giggi, and hey work hard of course but don't neglect your bitches. HUGS.
  25. I like the queue outside WR, it's one of the sights of the area and the parents of ED can start interesting and informative conversations with their children about rationing in WW2 and how people used to do this in butchers shops all the time. Then take them home and show them episodes of Dad's Army, focussing on Jonesy's butcher shop. Blimey, SM's choleric today, too much red meat perhaps?
