I'm thinking a working title could be The Wallet. Perhaps with a strapline of "A random good deed led to a life of wholesale ice cream and a top model" Perhaps that needs a little work. Let's get an Arts Council grant without delay. In order to keep costs down let's recruit from within the EDF. I suggest Spadetownboy forthe lead role ie me. He seems a little down at the moment and could do with a boost. For the wallet loser I'm thinking Sean MG, no particular reason jjust that he strikes me as the sort who might lose a wallet. Finally for my top model wife, well Giggi if you're not busy yourself for a couple of weeks... Bagsy me as director. It looks easy enough and I have access to a megaphone. Come on people, let's make movies!!
  2. What films have they had there?
  3. Now you just lift your head up STB. On here we consider you almost an equal, and practically a human being in your own right.
  4. "My dear friend Sammy Davis Jnr..." Bruce Forsyth, Every Bloody Chance He Gets.
  5. "I'm in charge" - Bruce Fosyth, Sunday Night At The London Palladium.
  6. Sorry BB but I'm of the opinion he looks like ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag. No offence. And don't worry I won't dob you in to Mr BB.
  7. Just to chuck in my two penn'orth. I found a wallet as I was getting off a bus at Crystal Palace about three years ago. As I was in a hurry I trouserd it and went about my business. In the afternoon I tried to hand it in to ED police station but when the rozzer on the desk heard I found it on a bus, he would not accept it and directed me to hand it in to LT. I contacted one of his card suppliers, it was Barclays I believe and they passed on my phone number to the chap. He called me up thanked me kindly and asked me to send the wallet to his address and to buy a drink with the rest of the money, there was twenty quid in it. We stayed in touch and became firm friends. He made me a full partner in his highly lucrative ice cream whoesaling business and I ended up marrying his sister who is a top model. Funny how things turn out, isn't it?
  8. Russell Brand. In some cicles it appears he's considered a style icon. Frankly I've seen better dressed wounds.
  9. The Brothers Grimm. Thought it was clever to go round scaring kids, didn't they? Pair of bastards.
  10. I think this will have probably found it's way through a fence (possibly one availablr to put up yourself from IKEA named Ftaark or somesuch)and is even now being converted to life as a laundry bag. I suggest you go to the His Lordship launderette on Lordship Lane and demand an identity parade.
  11. I Know What I Like (The Lawnmower Song) - Genesis
  12. I took Cathouse to mean a bawdy place where ladies of ill-repute gathered, rather than a building where you could board your pussy cheaply. But then I'm an innocent and simple soul.
  13. "You bet your (sweet) bippy" - Various, Rowan And Martin's Laugh-in.
  14. Well, Did You Evah? - Iggy Pop & Deborah Harry.
  15. "Permission to speak,sir" - Corporal Jones, Dad's Army.
  16. Was it something we Ted?
  17. Perhaps you might have been better off with a 'hare of the dog' rather than the rabbit STB. Happy Easter one and all.
  18. "We're doooomed" - Private Fraser, Dad's Army.
  19. "They don't like it up'em" - Corporal Jones, Dad's Army
  20. "You ruddy 'ooligans" - Warden Hodges, Dad's Army.

  22. Momentarily I considered posting a 'Have You Ever Held A Needle In Front Of A Mirror' thread. But on reflection I couldn't see the point.
