Although I hate Ryanair and now I have a child, don't fly with them, I understand the terms and conditions things, and when I first came to the UK 8 ish years ago and went travelling one weekend a month, they were amazing and cheap and opened up Europe for me. I don't really have sympathy for people who don't understand what they are getting themselves into. It's not like all this hasn't been moaned about before. What I do have a problem with is Ryanair publishing their complaints figures and claiming that they are the "least complained about airline" when they deliberately make it almost impossible to complain to them. (In fact, you have to send a FAX if I remember correctly). I think this is genuinely misleading and should be looked into by the consumer protection body.
