  1. Deposits are supposed to be lodged with a third party scheme Raise a dispute https://www.tenancydepositscheme.com/deposit-disputes.html I had an overprotective landlady once - she gave me back my full deposit though even though I broke her favorite statue - felt so guilty.
  2. OKay a blast from the past, David Mellor was on Sky News this morning saying how Boris should get rid of Rees-Mogg as he keeps putting his foot in it. I suppressed a little giggle remembering Mellor and feet.
  3. McDonnell excused himself and left real fast, Corbyn staying for "reflection" and the contenders line up as favorite is Becky Long-Bailey (not Rebecca anymore it seems) Angela Raynor Lisa Nandy Keir Starmer
  4. At the moment I can't even bear to watch Sky News and stopped watching BBC News a while ago. Netflix and Amazon over XMas :)

Yes - but at the moment there's not much to be done so saving the batteries as it were - I am probably one of the luckier ones in the short term - long term I'll be a pensioner. I really hope he goes the real one nation route as with this majority the ERG are sidelined.

They're allowed to protest peacefully - myself I'd end up in the nearest pub which probably shows I'm not one of those at worst risk from 5 years of Boris (there are some who claim to see themselves in extreme danger)
  8. A lot of people claiming to have put through applications to join the Labour party. No doubt in time for the election of a new leader.

  13. A fellow Swansea supporter "Traditional Labour voters don't want Eddie Izzard or Stormzy" I think that's where we're headed and it's not inclusive. Labour held on in Swansea East, West and Gower - not sure what was being said there as I'm out of touch.
  14. Oh well lets start by cancelling my Sky contract and go from there. I now feel free and owe nobody anything :)

  20. Turnout in London especially South London very high https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/voters-report-huge-queues-dozens-21079845 "Atmosphere is very London: orderly queueing and no-one is talking to each other!" this is why I'll never be a true Londoner even after 15 years here I guess - for me a queue is a chance for a gossip :)
  21. Just reminding Uncle that Time Magazine person of the year is Greta Thunberg. Just saying to cheer him up. Full fact on the Leeds Infirmary saga https://fullfact.org/online/LGI-photo-boy-facebook/
