  1. Who reads the Spoons Mag really :) Cheap labour is solved by trade unions/workers councils (the German route) not banning immigrants.
  2. My Sky broadband doesn't seem as reliable as it has over the years (it was once super reliable) I asked the Samsung voice control to record something today and it replied that it was too busy to talk to me as it has connection problems. Maybe 300Kb upload isn't enough for it. Everything wants high bandwidth up and down now it seems - Pushing me towards fibre.
  3. Mines Okay and they fixed it quite quickly when it broke lat month but down detector seem to have Sky issues around London every day. https://downdetector.co.uk/problems/sky/news/255787-problems-at-sky
  4. Every bank has gone the same way - all open plan and chaotic atmosphere. You'd think they're more vulnerable to fraud then when every bank felt like Fort Knox. But I'm sure they know what they're doing :)
  5. Maybe they pay there staff premium wages ? Old Spot doesn't even have a web page and the parent group hasn't mention ED yet - I'll keep an eye on it. https://www.eigroupplc.com/en/media/press-releases.html?tab1=2019
  6. New website http://thepalmerstondulwich.com/
  7. I'm fed up with the emergency Typhoon jets creating sonic booms whilst fending off Putin's air force (even though they've mostly avoided south London).

  10. Brilliant :) the Swansea MP's are kicking off about 5G and maybe modern life in general. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/06/27/mps_5g_electrosensitivity_5g_cancer_doom_apocalyse_etc/
  11. The odds of No Deal are about a million to one. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/26/boris-johnson-chances-of-no-deal-brexit-are-a-million-to-one-against Any takers :)
  12. One stalked me near Bellenden Road the other day.
  13. I was on 1803 so update downloading now. Maybe about to go offline.
  14. Hunt was on twitter last night doing a question and answer session - with hashtag #bojonoshow I don't think it was actually him doing it as he almost had a sense of humour - and what tory members would be following anyway.
  15. My home laptop is 6 years old (still it's an i7 with 16 GB RAM but no SDD) - likes all updates usually :) I'll check tonight if it's upgraded as I leave it by itself mostly.

She means the specific show I think - which was good (I liked it and I get easily distracted these days) - It was filmed in so many places across London, UK, France, Russia and more mind :)
  17. Rusted exhaust and too mean to buy one ? Actually a quick google and it's the Cats they often take - maybe he's like the guy sawing off the branch he's sat on.

Not sure what The Tiger and Boris could do together.
  19. I got robbed last year outside the Camberwell Arms and they ran north towards Boris's house before I gave up the chase.
  20. Analyse how Jeremy Hunt became so rich without really trying.

No offense taken and that could easily be true :). In his way Hunt is as bad as he recognises the problem where due to a no deal a large number of people could lose their job and says so and then says he might have to do it anyway.

  23. Whatever the Chancellor said yesterday is now subsumed by another silly act. Apparently he was going to criticise some of the aspiring PM's plans I thought.
  24. Rosetta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do you mean in the case of a repair or > replacement? Good question - now if they are swapping good batteries when doing a screen repair we have an issue. If they're replacing batteries with non Apple parts as part of a battery replacement it's exactly what I'd expect of a phone repair business that isn't the Apple shop.
  25. I'll give him 3 days before he puts his foot in something :)
