  1. Lol, however funny it would be to have an AI on here, I think Louisa is real not an Alexa in disguise.
  2. If he's threatened to take your lease once I'd be worried about his motives. Has he got insurance ? Someone should be doing the jobs a management company would do and really all residents should contribute something to a sink fund. https://england.shelter.org.uk/housing_advice/shared_ownership_leasehold/responsibility_for_leaseholder_repairs

The advert actually mentioned TUPE for the staff as part of the contract (if the new business is similar) - but I guess there are ways around that.

I always thought half and half (half rice, half chips) was a Welsh thing but I doubt it - others must order it.
  6. Not good hearing this - Lexington in Islington apparently. He swears it was a planned right wing attack - I actually hope not in some ways. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/owen-jones-insists-he-is-not-rattled-after-being-kicked-in-head-outside-north-london-pub-a4215721.html
  7. Hmm - Bet there's a GDPR implication here somewhere. Trying to 'seduce'a sale just sounds dodgy though.
  8. Trumpism is catching on down under Australian deputy PM : ?I also get a little bit annoyed when we have people in those sorts of countries pointing the finger at Australia and say we should be shutting down all our resources sector so that, you know, they will continue to survive,? He then went on that they will survive due to Australian fruit. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2019/aug/16/pacific-islands-will-survive-climate-crisis-because-they-can-pick-our-fruit-australias-deputy-pm-says

Hearing a bit recently that implies fear of Brexit is gaining real traction in some companies. These small fears can so easily multiply.

  11. I can see it up for Sale https://www.rightmove.co.uk/commercial-property-for-sale/property-78263207.html But it might get brought and carry on as it is - or convert to a be more pub like again. Status says "under offer" by the way.

Maybe we're moving slowly towards a caretaker government under Harriet Harman or Ken Clarke.

The best offer was "everything stays the same for 5 years whilst we sort out what we want" IMHO which isn't that much longer than the implementation period plus already agreed extension.

It still was and is a bad deal compared to EU membership. Works economically and keeps food on the table but UK loses it's voice at the top table.

  19. Hit that on the 176 last night - bus diverted towards Peckham.
  20. The moment the Bakerloo line extension route was announced this was inevitable. They want to extend the E&C developments (Lend Lease) down the OKR.

So the Telegraph have managed to get a COMRES poll to show a mmajority for No Deal (excluding a large amount of don't knows). Wonder if some are just giving him enough rope to hang himself.

  24. There are charges in some councils - so maybe they steal them here and sell them somewhere else.
  25. Often you need to ring customer support in those circumstances - I lost my ntlworld address years ago and caused the odd issue over the years.
