  1. We switched to Apple from Blackberry. It's a service provider plan type agreement I think - not asked the telecoms guy why Apple prefered (even though he sits next to me LOL) I'm pretty sure Apple with it's tied down universe incurs less support.
  2. Whats the other options, how long do they last and how effective are they. Our work apple iphones have lasted 3 years and are still as fast as day 1 (I don't put personal crap on work phones).

Yeah, as a child I still liked the Crown Jewels, the tower Richard III locked the children in (scary), Tower Bridge (Is that top part now open), Westminster Abbey - but now plot a visit to somewhere base on the best pub around :)

I can't believe Gina Miller is being threatened with acid attacks now. It's not because of what she did - I'm sure it's because of what she did and her race/gender. If a white british man took court proceedings over brexit - these threats wouldn't be happening IMHO. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/antibrexit-campaigner-gina-miller-scared-to-leave-her-home-after-acid-attack-threats-a3608161.html

Someone on Twitter was saying yesterday that all the regulatory bodies etc, that need to be set-up need should already be in progress if we aim to be out of the EU by 2019. But no work being done on creating them whatsoever yet.
  11. I can't believe cakes are so popular - I prefer savoury stuff myself.
  12. Tinned ones aren't the same - need fresh ones, top and tail them, boil a bit and make a crumble. We had loads of gooseberry bushes in the 70's too - was it a thing
  13. Alan: Alexa, Open the pod bay doors Alexa: I'm sorry Alan, I'm afraid I can't do that.

  15. However Black Lives Matter do march with Pride these days (and usually mount a protest too). Loads of articles all over the world - this is just one http://www.dailywire.com/news/17954/friends-no-more-black-lives-matter-slams-gay-pride-hank-berrien# I think this is the type of issue the Okundaye was highliging

That way, none of this would have happened. There is a school of thought (mainly in the states) that word Racism is White on Black and everything else is prejudice but that's just words - but then for some words matter. "My experiences as a black gay man facing racism from white gay men have taught me this." I get the feeling a lot of what was said is aimed at Gay White Males - but that's only my gut feeling. He's extrapolated the way some men have treated him.

Our freeholder/management company holds throwing cigarette butts out the window as a most evil crime (letters go around) With us it's usually workers on the roof :)

Vince Cable was responding to "His strongly worded attack came after a YouGov poll suggested 61% of leave voters would consider significant damage to the British economy to be a price worth paying for leaving the EU."

Like the Lannisters the UK always pays it's debts. Hear that Rees-Mogg But the EU are setting the rules here and we agreed to the process last month did we not - and that means settling the bill BEFORE a trade deal - Davis agreed (actually rolled over) on this after saying he'd fight and fight. Edit- Of course we can agree to 36m and not pay it until an agreed date
  20. UPS is effectively a large battery - Datacenters use them to keep equipment up for a short while (few hours) to switch to another power source (generator) or bring equipment down gracefully. Wouldn't want a load of batteries in my home to be honest - so not something I'd use :)

With my area the argument is the flats were built after the clubs etc. so we knew when we purchased there will be noise - there's a huge new lot about to be sold opposite me too so I'd expect arguments over the next 6 months. I know for a fact some people complain.
  22. But is in the London Borough of Bexley - so one of those a bit dual natured - like Bromley.

Leave us out of that relegation zone :). Actually Paul Clement is a good manager even if we sell Gylfi - We were hamstrung by Brad Bobley last year.

The EU-27 now believe that the UK is so unbelievably crap at the negotiations that it must be a cunning plan and a trap for them. http://www.politico.eu/article/united-kingdom-brexit-eu-david-davis-the-uks-secret-brexit-strategy-so-stealth-even-the-british-cant-see-it/
  25. Some are really persistent mind. Standing outside the pub (not local) yesterday and some girl decides she's not going to leave me alone until I give her a pound (for a sandwich) - just stood there in some kind of stand off and I think she'd have stayed all night.
