Interesting that the All Blacks have been training all week whilst the Lions have had a few days off (bungee jumping etc). Total contrast in approach to the 3rd test in that regards.

The one who used to pester me endlessly on Rye Lane came over to tell me he's moved to Elephant - and I know he just came out of a few months in prison too. Sadly he said "it's your country not mine" to me. -
I'm coming to the view that Vunipola should stay despite my words to the TV during his infringing. I'd stick with Farrell at 12 to - he's really a second five eighth - which NZ should know all about as they invented it. :) This is not Gatlands normal way however.

Outside experts coming in to take over parts of Kensington Council. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/grenfell-tower-fire-kensington-council-government-taskforce-theresa-may-tory-rehousing-safety-a7824256.html It's because of the way things have been handled since the Grenfell tradgedy it seems.

There isn't really a Shadwell Army .. or ... I was in New Cross once when a load of Millwall fans came in ... one said "nice trainers" (they were bright blue Converse).

The longer way if the Jubilee line is down (happened a few times) is Overground to Shadwell then DLR.

AWJ will only play 55 minutes then Lawes - AWJ can be really niggly and frustrate the opposition at his best. Peckham Rye -> Canada Water -> Canary Wharf Watch out the change at Canada Water can be busy - trains cannot always be boarded at peak times.

So will Gatland keep up the physicality for the third test. He says keep down the penalty count - but I think he has to keep the physical stuff up.

Is this Government getting rather leaky - reminds me of John Major. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/shameless-theresa-may-pleaded-with-david-cameron-to-support-her-dup-deal-a3578116.html "A source close to the former PM was quoted" - oh it's George isn't it :)

Is it just me or are the threads becoming more banal?
JohnL replied to malumbu's topic in The Lounge
'd rather the banal than an argument that goes on and on and on and on :) of course there's nothing stopping both. -

He would have been pinged if he didn't so he did - don't know really how much it hurt (it could just have been symbolic of not letting go of the binding rather than a grab, squeeze and twist) Edit: Anyway it seems if Franks minded he's biding his time

To be fair Gatlands words were ... "If I was physically dominated by the All Blacks then I'd do something about it" Vunipola (and some of the others) did something about it - just went a bit too far - but it's hard to rein it in once you let it out. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/mako-vunipola-hopes-to-prove-gatland-wrong-in-second-test-1.3138892 Gatland knew exactly what he was unleashing.

Just in Time philosophy - otherwise you are wasting time of course a really important date is different. The guy sitting next to me at work often says "Just to Late"
