  1. The free market will cause major changes in Peckham whatever the plans are IMHO
  2. Progressing http://www.architectsjournal.co.uk/news/studio-octopi-lands-peckham-rye-lido-job/8681095.article Wonder if it will happen.
  3. it used to be Michael Foot and Old Labour who wanted to leave EU and NATO. The link from last summer shows how politics has changed in 6 months (except the hatred of Ed Balls) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/ed-miliband/10941419/Ed-Miliband-campaigned-for-Britain-to-leave-EU.html
  4. Sold to "former KGB agent" Alexander Lebedev now :) edit: - thats a Wiki quote above - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Lebedev

I'm pretty sure muggers can pick out the people who will react explosively - and avoid. Repressed anger is something to see when it comes out in the British.

  7. I would have written an email summary to the CEO of Fusion (His name seems to be Peter Kay :) ).

It always used to be that the insurers (not wanting court costs) had agreements with each other (you take this one, we take the next) - that might sound like a cartel - so maybe gone.

  10. I'd have said it's much less controversial on here now than 5 years ago. Get some well known MPs on to do a review of local pubs :)

Suspect if DUP came along - then SF would get annoyed. And then it would properly kick off. Plaid were trying to form an alliance with SNP - but not really working.

    Leaders' Debate

I would say Sturgeon and the SNP are now legitimized to some extent in England & Wales The Tories seem to have helped that happen. Not sure where that will lead - most likely to a rainbow coalition if Cameron fails to get a majority.
  13. Don't really think that worked :)
  14. I reckon Cameron is going to get distracted by the nationalists tonight (who seem to want there chance at him).
  15. Yes - I got the same - top flat. The wind won't last - it was pretty bad. Some wood blew off over the weekend too - and almost hit whistling man Fire brigade turned up and got the scaffolders to secure - not known that before.

Not when there's more pressure. Bale had about 11 chances and scored 2 against Israel - most made by some great play by him Looking at him play - he needs to be the superstar in the team Maybe thats why he has problems at Madrid.

I got off, walked to Camberwell Green, Had a pint in the Tiger (quickish) then caught the bus as it caught up :)
  19. I saw a homeless guy looking at a cheap burger someone had brought him with disgust yesterday (Holborn way). Why have the numbers increased so much recently - is it sanctioning of benefits ?
  20. It's changed - so something like drunk and disorderly would not count - separate question about drugs which are a no no. it's not moral turpitude any more (which was confusing) ?Have you ever been arrested or convicted for a crime that resulted in serious damage to property,or serious harm to another person or government authority?? http://www.usvisalawyers.co.uk/article6.htm
  21. Some nurses have terrible problem finding a vein whilst some can do it in seconds. I discovered that in hospital. I'm registered with Melbourne Grove and they don't have good write ups on here I'm afraid (same sort of issues)

    Rugby matters

I would usually say the games should start at the same time But there is an obligation to grow the game -so grudgingly last Saturday was good. COngrats to Ireland winning -- just.

Boris was in a team GB tracksuit - and his hair was all over the place. He seemed happy.

So should you vote on principle and stick with a political party even when they aren't at there best as they are your party and will represent your values. Should you be pragmatic and go for what's best for you at that time (or even the UK or the World if you like) or should you vote tactically and vote to keep someone else out. I think all three are valid reasons to vote.
