  1. If you have lost one please pm me description and we can arrange for you to collect. Thanks
  2. This is something I would be interested in too, I am super basic though, i.e. I cannot even sew on a button!!! I don't have anything I particularly need altered but would just like to learn. thanks

This is what I do, all of the others are generally running late and absolutely rammed at PR, you can always get on at PR but space is limited.
  4. Thanks for this info was just coming on to ask about it. Has anyone had their children done privately yet? Before all the waiting lists were closed I mean. X
  5. I think it depends on how much grey you have etc. I used to do mine at home but the bottom of hair really held on to the colour and after a few times it didn't look great. I now go to gms by the station and see Donna (there is one particular hairdresser there I would tell you to avoid for a colour so pm me if you want info). I think they call it express colour art and I have to say my most recent colour I am super happy with it. X
  6. You can do a pool party at Dulwich leisure centre and with that you get the cr?che which has indoor and outdoor.
  7. I do worry re the dynamic now everyone keeps mentioning it! X KatDew Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > We went from 1 to 3. 8. That was me! I've birthed two woeful sleepers but I used Nicola Watson second time around and she changed my life so I'd use her again in a heartbeat! 9. You've nailed I think I do just need that push, when I think about it there are a million reasons not to but a million and 1 to! Every time I make my mind up I talk myself out of it! 10. I have been a patient at this surgery for years and I have to be honest I really do rate them highly. The reception staff have gotten to know me and my children over the years and especially 2 of them are very friendly, accommodating and try to help me as much as they can. I was there with my eldest this morning and one of them even gave me a hug to say happy new year! I have been there for myself sick, experienced two pregnancies with gestation diabetes and subsequent check ups / ailments for those children, PND post the birth of my second child where I had to attend weekly appts, my OH's dramatic back injury which required surgery and the doctor got us an emergency MRI on a sunday, I could go on and on but my point is through all of that only once have I ever had an issue with a receptionist staff (many many moons ago in my first pregnancy) and I reported it direct and it was resolved very quickly. I do make a real effort to ensure I am always polite and nice (as I do to anyone else) and when they have squeezed one of my sick children in I always stop on our way out and say thank you for their help. I think they are one of the better surgeries in the area and it would be far more helpful rather than being a keyboard warrior to actually speak to the person in charge and mention your experiences so they can address it. The other alternative is to change surgeries if you feel that strongly about it I guess but it would be shame as the GP care there is very good.

Thanks for all of your input, it is a lot of food for thought, I shall continue my slow ponder..
  12. Shot by the sheriff on northcross or snappy snape on rye lane.
  13. I've tried the place twice and both times terrible haircuts so we now use a barber on lordship lane for both boys (almost 2 and 4) and they are great. Save your money and go elsewhere I say!
  14. Thanks Pickle that's very reassuring to hear! The Noise and mess are the things that cross my mind! We would have to upgrade the car but tbh we need to do that anyway and we would need to move but again we are doing that anyway whether or not baby 3 comes or not. We are meant to be moving to Oz in November but progressing with baby number 3 we would delay that for a while, I can't fathom uprooting everyone whilst pregnant etc. When I think about it I know in my heart I will regret if I don't do it but I am definitely left feeling daunted by the potential chaos of it all. I had better get all of my knitting orders in before you go lol! Life is just starting to get back to normal with number 2 Approaching two years old and I actually find time to get the the gym and get some me time so rewinding again to newborn I wonder if I am mad but I guess it's all just a phase and I will find that time again and a new baby far outweighs going to a pump class haha. (Someone remind me of this please when you see me pounding the pavement with a crying baby and my hair not brushed!) Xx
  15. I never thought I'd be doing this but I am seriously pondering baby number 3. Turning the ripe old age of 38 this coming September I figure it's now or never! I can hand on heart say I found the transition from 1-2 difficult and whilst some people say that a 3rd isn't much harder than 2 other people say it's the one that sends you over the edge! Lol. So I am looking for some advice from parents that have been there and done that! thanks all! X
  16. Yes I live on that street and yes it does drive me mad. We are across from holmes place and the wind brings loads of the loose little bits of rubbish over to our driveway which I am constantly putting in the bin and makes the front our house look like we just drop rubbish everywhere and don't care! I will also email the environment team which James has provided. x
  17. It's this one X http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/1378140.htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=cgid:12525739490%7Ctsid:59158%7Ccid:200294090%7Clid:94833385730%7Cnw:g%7Ccrid:66128561930%7Crnd:2496066720306284025%7Cdvc:m%7Cadp:1o1%7Cbku:1&gclid=CIPC8N6Pm8oCFeTnwgodTC8FNw
  18. Thanks Mivy I know it's unbelievable! We are pondering number 3! I am wondering if I am mad.. Hope you are well!! X
  19. We have a Candy 9kg and its great, honestly I'd be lost without it. Either crack the window or get a dehumidifier but the moisture really isn't that bad and it keeps the kitchen toasty warm!
  20. I've applied on a non faith basis and am hoping to get in. I called and asked what their furthest distance place offered last year and it had extended to well beyond 400m (I am 221). Good luck!
  21. My 4 year old boy still loves pink and honestly it doesn't bother me at all - we are a mix of pink stuff and dinosaurs in my house and I have two boys! pink is just a colour and nothing more than that to be honest at such a young age, it is adults who put their own stereotypes on children. Just take him and he will see that truly everyone else is so busy doing their own thing they wont even notice him let alone what colour scooter he is on! Daddy needs to chill out a bit, big kisses x
  22. pommie Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Strawbs I'm still waiting to hear about how I can > help as I could probably help on new years day Hi, they seem to run it in 3 shifts, I don't know what the early one is but the others are 10-2 and 1-5. It is a mix of keeping people company and then serving lunch and clearing up when they are finished. When I was there they then played bingo and you can help them with that. I have gone and bought a stack of things to donate as bingo prizes for New Year's Day. I do have an email address of the op that I am happy to pm you if you like.
