  1. I have had this exact problem and just thrown out another pair of curtains. I noticed this week some mould around the window frames that wasn't there last week so I ran out dehumidifier all night last night and this morning the windows were bone dry (vs dripping wet and pooling at the bottom of the window) so that's the way forward definitely! We have a bit dehumidifier and the bucket was full from going on at 11 and auto turned off at 7. Well worth the investment if you don't have one already.
  2. I normally donate money but this yeAr I will out together a hamper. Thanks for list x
  3. Both of my children had reflux and it is v hard so hats off to you there. The sleep lady I used had 6 different techniques to choose from in terms of sleep training so maybe (and I'm no expert) you could choose one of the more gentle ones that still get the same result but it takes longer. My advice would be to call Nicola and ask re the 4m age thing as she will tell you honestly over the phone before scheduling an appt. Nicola takes all things in to consideration including the reflux etc and will work with you with those things in mind. My eldest had reflux and didn't sleep til he was 2 but I honestly think now if I had used Nicola as I did with my second he would have slept a whole lot sooner! My youngest has the same issues my eldest had yet since night 4 of the sleep training he continues to sleep through. Things are so hard when you aren't getting sleep so I rally feel for you. Nicola overhauled everything for me including feeding schedule , day time napping schedule etc and it worked and honestly I was so sceptical. I can't urge you enough to call her and just have an initial discussion with her before you decide to do anything, it can't hurt. X
  4. Call Nicola at child sleep solutions for th night waking, can't help on bottle sorry x
  5. Yes each month x
  6. Yep three weeks in in feeling better but still coughing!
  7. Get a vaporiser. I use the boots electric vaporiser fo blocked noses and it works a treat. Vicks steam vaporiser for a cough. X
  8. Thanks everyone, sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Lots to consist, I think the first step is to go and try out the cr?che and see how we get on in there. X
  9. Thank you. We don't need a place til 2016 so just putting th feelers out now to see what we need to do. X
  10. Just a quick question, both of our boys have been baptised at the church but we don't attend church regularly due to toddler Strawbs constantly acting like he has ants in his pants!! If we were to start attending with a view to it also helping get toddler Strawbs a church place at the school would toddler Strawbs also have to attend or can my OH just go. My OH is quite religious and would like to attend but it becomes a very stressful experience with toddler Strawbs and I don't want to leave him in the cr?che there. Welcome the views if any other parents that have secured a church place. Thanks
  11. Our update is that baby Strawbs has slept through for over a week now and the last two nights did 7-7, for anyone reading this that is feeling desperately tired then give Nicola a call and I bet she can help you too. I continue to be amazed that only a week and a half ago I was like a dead person walking and now I am getting proper sleep and my days with toddler And baby Strawbs are so much nicer now as my patience isn't constantly running at zero! X
  12. I use mine all the time with a 3 year old and 7m old. Look up slow cooker saddo's on fb for recipes. Get one with a keep warm function, sainos often have sales x
  13. I agree minder buds is on the upper end, I am changing mini Strawbs from a his current nursery to buds but the current nursery are ?31 per morning but 8-1 vs 9-1 and supply all good vs having to supply lunch at buds. As it's term time only though once the 15 hours kick in in jan then for four mornings it will only cost ?9 a weeks vs the other nursery still circa ?350/400 so I think at the right age and circumstances buds can really work but the cost stings til the free hours kick in. X
  14. Buds have spaces, it's ?34 a morning session.
  15. Brill Melbourne groover I will head down there tomorrow x
  16. Slad - most white jewellery needs a dip back in to white gold every now and again as it's basically yellow gold dipped in white gold so it wears off over time. X
  17. I have finally gotten my wedding ring back on post birthing baby number 2 but it needs a dip as it's been off my finger for so long. I normally get it done near my work but don't fancy the trek in on mat leave. Xxx
  18. Renata could I pm you my address pls and you let me know the same info re state schools pls? Thanks
  19. Totally agree with all of the above, she is a miracle worker!
  20. She tweaked a lot of what I was currently doing including day schedule and technique for helping him to self settle. I was the same and wondered what else I could be doing but within a day of doing it I could see very clearly where I had been making errors. She says temperatures and teething are definitely reasons that things would temporarily change but it should go back to normal once those things resolve. It is such an amazing result in such a short time if I'm honest I can hardly believe it myself! X
  21. Well unbelievably he slept through last night!!! I know it's early days and I'm sure more work to be done but we are gobsmacked. If someone had of told me this time last week I would have had a full night of sleep I would have laughed! X
  22. Well so far so bloody amazing!! After 3 days of his day time routine being changed and 2 nights of training (last night being the 2nd) baby Strawbs only woke up once last night!!! Took me a while to get him back off but we have gone from hourly wake ups to 1 in 2 nights, absolutely extraordinary!! It's early days I know but I am seriously hoping by this time next week he will be sleeping through. For anyone in my position who was about to form out ?1000 on a night nanny give Nicola at child sleep solutions a call first, you just never know!! I feel exhausted today even though he slept so much we I think I slept so lightly expecting him to wake and for the battle to commence but I defo think I'll be more at ease tonight! X
  23. I called eastern delight the other night to order myself a number 41 with pork (a yummy noodle soup) and I am sure it was the guy that used to work at yee wah answering the phone. I asked my OH to ask him what happened when picking up the food but alas she didn't. Next time I order I shall if he answers. My hunt still continues. I may try mr lui.
  24. Jules night nanny - that is her cost for a face to face consultation, a detailed plan you implement yourself and give weeks of support. After a diabolical night of him waking every 20-30 minutes I am desperate to hear what she says. X
  25. I spoke to a night nanny today who was ?250 a night and said it would need a minimum 4 nights for progress. On mat leave we have decided to go with Nicola at child sleep solutions as she can come tomorrow for ?225 and people seem to rave about her. I am desperate for this to work so hopefully her 99% success rate will apply to us too!! X
