  1. Maybe move to somewhere where you can get a bigger group in ESP as it is the last one? We have bday drinks that night for a friend so may be along later..

  3. Sorry I should have mentioned - Oakhurst grove.. james84 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What areas is this happening in?
  4. I got the knock late last night, said he was moving next door (I know for a fact my neighbours arent moving) and his van had been towed and he wanted a lift to the compound or some money, I promptly told him to bugger off and shut the door. Tall, slim, black, and was fiddling nervously with a blue plastic bag..
  5. When is the next one paps?
  6. my other half kicked the cigs (as have a few of my friends) by using champix, you get it from boots and its circa ?7 a fortnight or you pay ?30 upfront and you get it half price. Ive never used a hypno before so cant advise but wanted to let you know of another option before you go and hand over a wad of cash..
  7. I find this absolutely shocking!! I've not had this experience albeit our post constantly gets delivered to the wrong address and I once would have missed out on travel docs if it wasn't for a neighbour 3 doors down.. When I moved from my last place to here I paid for a mail redirection which they failed to carry out and they wouldn't refund me nor as of the point I pointed it out and said it was in the terms and conditions that they didn't have to carry the service out or give me a refund - when pressed for the ts and cs they said " we will post it out to you" and low and behold I never got a copy.. I personally think royal mail is a joke! lorna63 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I complained to the sorting office about the > postman not waiting to gain entry to our block, > and then posting the letters back in the postbox > outside, rather than take them back to the office. > I was told this was standard practice, but worse, > I had problems with my post for weeks after as I > had made a complaint. > It came to a head when I was running for charity > and needed my race number, which the company > assured had been sent out, the post man left a > card saying it wouldnt go through the letter box > and so he had taken it back to the office. 12. I absolutely love and adore Ed! Great vibe as you have discovered, fab bars restaurants ESP some great curry houses plus the thai place Buddha jazz... It's a pocketful of sunshine here, no getting away from the fact it's in London and with that comes some gritty stuff at times but all in all fab! We moved here 2.5 yeArs ago and we still love it...
  13. Cant advise you on the child side of things but I have recently changed from the GP on crystal palace road to the Gardens.. The people at the gardens have been fab so far!
  14. gosh you were lucky it didnt escalate! Well done for fending them off!!
  15. Not sure if we can make the 11th as may not be in Ed but crack on and I'll let u know closer to the time xx
  16. dont hate me paps but do you have a date for the Oct one? x
  17. Scoresby I agreed with you re the irregularity of the buses arriving, it was just the other week I waited 25 minutes before giving up and walking (it was one of those ridiculous situations I got myself into where I had waited so long then every time I thought of leaving I thought the bus would arrive as I'd been waiting so long!).. I seem to notice there will be two within 30 seconds of each other and then quite a long time til the next one comes.. I do too find them packed, I wish that they would make it a double decker bus and I think that would make the journey a lot more pleasant.. Yesterday when I was on it we had a battle of the buggies and to be honest there just isnt enough room for more than one buggie on there esp as you can only get off at the front.. cant comment on the rest of your post but that's my two pennies worth..
  18. Defo in the offered section.. Nothing else to add but just wanted to say welcome to ED!!
  19. Yes I think that would be a good idea..

  24. sorry sweetie we cant do the 13th but have fun xoxo
  25. Thanks Moos! ridiculous if you ask me but all reported appropriately.. Pixie - Im thinking of organising one on the 24th but I'll let you know.. No need to feel like the only one in the village, we are out and about everywhere.. My other half with a friend organises a girls soccer (football) game on the rye each sunday (well most sundays when they are not stinkingly hungover) and all are welcome, so you could come along to that too..
