Have you emailed maclaren directly? I've generally had good responses from pushchair manufacturers when I've not been able to find what i need on the website.

ours was almost 5 when he started (a November baby) and we were worried about all the same things. but he is doing well at school, just gently learning the stuff he needs to be learning plus lots of play. i think he would have been very bored at nursery once all the other kids go. we started with after school pick ups at his nursery and i changed my hours to start later so i could drop off. then we had an au pair. its really hard, much harder than juggling nursery, but not hard enough to delay him starting, in my opinion. sounds like you need to choose a school which is very play focussed, i think they all are to be fair as thats the curriculum but you will find some schools suit you better than others.

i have a bag full of boys shoes, in varying states from lightly to fairly worn. i would like to pass them on but i am guessing its not worth selling them, any recommendations or who might take them?

i would recommend you try him on something at evans, he can try it out in the shop and they will be able to advise you on the right size etc. islabikes get a good rep, as do hoy bikes. we have a dawes one which is great but we have a reluctant cyclist so we don't get out on it that much.

Lanes is now Juniper, and are based at midwives house. call them as soon as you can, if you are not in catchment for them they should be able to tell you if you are in catchment for one of the other teams. they are amazing, so if you can't get in then ask to go on their waitlist - people do move etc so places do come up.

we got some mats from amazon and thats been really good. only had a few mishaps and overall seems to be getting on ok so i guess he really is ready!

hi all son has announced he will no longer be wearing pull ups at night. this is fine, except he sleeps on the top bunk and its incredibly hard to change sheets esp as i am quite pregnant atm. any top tips? I'm thinking of a pad which doesn't have to be tucked all the way around which i can buy 2 or 3 of, and make up the bed in layers so i can just strip a wet layer off leaving the dry underneath (does this make sense) do i need a duvet protector? any advice welcome.

tomskip, i think that was quite rude and judgemental in tone, did you mean it to come across like that? there are lots of childcare solutions which don't involve qualifications, e.g. au pairs and babysitters. louise, i wasn't sure what you were looking for advice on (and i haven't had a nanny so won't be helpful) but do you mean advice in how to look for a family to join your share?

Thanks Kes do your older ones still come in to you in the night? i was considering just putting a single bed next to us to extend the bed but we don't quite have room...

or any other co sleeping tips/ options for those of you with more than one kid in the bed?
