Does ED need more 'blue' (plaques)?

Which bit Frisco? Just so I can write it down and remember it! -
Nope. I am richer, better-looking and I can spot a decent investment opportunity when it comes along. Mind you, I DID meet Richard Farleigh once. He really does love himself. I think he uses L'Oreal from the amount he plays with his hair.

My mum used to tell me - "Just be yourself" and you know what - it works. Mind you I am very good-looking, witty, charming, intelligent, have the body of a God and a very large xxxx! Not quite so sure it would work if I was a characterless, hunch-backed idiot with no social graces!

I knew there had to be an answer. And, let's face it, for a six year old, it is the most exciting way to watch coffee being made (especially if you have also watched the beans being ground at local importer). I remember us getting the plywood tea-crates from the importer to put our toys in. We had to rip out the foil linings and every time we went to get out Action Man there was a wonderful smell of tea.

Still can't get the thought of old William Joyce out of my head. Isn't that just a bummer - your last public appearance and you wake up on the morning and your skin has gone to pot? -
I have a friend who was taken into Dulwich Hospital many years ago. They ran some tests on him and apparently discovered that he was born of a jackal!

Tell us more. This sounds fascinating!

I have previously suggested a set of stocks in the middle of the LL/East Dulwich Road roundabout. I would welcome suggestions as to who should debut them. I think whatever office junior from Osbourne Stewart pretended to be Mrs Robinson or whoever. Twenty-four hours of rotten fruit throwing should enable them to pay their penance and revert to being an acceptable member of ED society. -

Blimey! I hear that they made a bit of a mess of hanging Keitel as well - that he dangled at the end of the rope for about half an hour before eventually strangling. No wonder he asked for the firing squad! -

So how come percolated coffee tastes so damn good then, if boiling ruins coffee?
-
Is this one of those wanky, pretentious things - you must never boil coffee as it ruins the taste? A bit like having sorbet between courses to cleanse the palette? Or not rubbing perfume once it is on the skin as it ruins the fragrance?
-
You animal!
-
You big wuss! You do realise that because of your selfishness some innocent, doe-eyed little two-year-old prolly got the fifty-calibre sized knitting needle thrust into his/her thread-like veins?
-
Maybe they drank it! Or sold it to an Olympic athlete who needed to cheat a drug-test?
-
I must say that I think percolating coffee has a special quality and also is hugely reminiscent for me of Christmas time when my grandfather would buy freshly ground coffee beans and fill the house with the wonderful smell every morning. I would come downstairs as a five or six year old to see the silver coffee percolator going "blubble-blubble" on the hot-plate. Memories!

Let's find out. I would be surprised if this gets even two replies before being consigned to the pit. To give some flavour to the thread - does anyone else know of any other very fast things that have happened?

I went to get a blood sample taken there about a year ago and they gave me ice-cream and jelly afterwards for being such a brave boy!

With regard to her recent sterling work for the SNUB campaign to help save our rotting planet and her eloquent comments on local radio, I am left with a feeling concerning Monica that can be best described (inarticulate though it is) as "I am not worthy!" I wonder if any other posters on EDF experience the same feeling of worthlessness and personal inadequacy when they compare themselves to this ED demi-goddess?

Prior of course, old boy. Afterwards one has a snifter of Glenmorangie and sends the wench back to polishing the furniture - what ho!

They hung him, nonetheless, on the pretext that he had claimed the protection of the British state and therefore owed fielty to it. Anyway, I think we should have a blue plaque for Monica in respect of her services to the environment and also to embarrass her silly! -
A point well made is the sample size. Despite CWALD's claims to slapper-dom (she implied it, not me!), I am still not convinced that her sample size would necessarily be large enough to have statistical validity. Perhaps her experience is a mere anomaly? An equally interesting point relates to nationality. So far in my shagging career I have experienced the delights of English, Irish, Scottish, French, Dutch, Czech and Italian fillies and am undecided as to which nationality is best. A friend of mine with more extensive experience is convinced that English women are lousy lays and that Eastern Europeans are best. Any comments?
