  1. Thank you all very much. Fantastically helpful
  2. Be aware Yesterday as I was watching a programme on You tube, a full page box popped up saying that all my bank and credit details card would betaken unless an amount was paid Another box appeared which the android voice said I was to click on before the time limit had ended. I immediately shut down the computer, restarted it and run a full virus scan which stated that there had been no breach of security and that all was in order. I wish I'd taken a screen shot to show you but didn't Checked the bank account balance at an ATM today. Nothing missing, email account seems normal. I haven't used online banking because of any lurking nasties. Any advice or thoughts welcome

  4. I'm glad for you that you found a framer to suit you. It's therefore a bit late to suggest you visit the 'Arterie' on North Cross Road. Front of shop often busy on my passing, a good indication usually. Did you try them Peckwoman ?

Hi Thanks for your post. I asked at three businesses in the road in which it was parked and none said they owned the vehicle or knew who owned the vehicle. The car was not there the next morning and I haven't been PM'ed by anyone and so.. Case closed. Thanks again

More or less regardless of the time of year there are winds,in the spring/summer, they are westerly and can be strong. I would advise a wind / shower proof jacket/ coat. Outside of Stromness or Kirkwall, the sights are archaeological / natural. As for accommodation, look up hotels / guest houses /b&b's / camp sites

It happened at Crystal Palace Rd centre while I was there one evening. They did identify the thief then and maybe there is a correlation in some way that may help you. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1143931,1143931#msg-1143931
  15. Thank you R.S.P.C.A and Stringvest
  16. I lost heat and hot water recently because my boiler lost pressure. I watched an online tutorial about how to re-pressurise the system back to 1.5 bar. Have a look on you tube for a tutorial for your boiler type
  17. Hello Cllr Barber I notice there has been an effort to clear abandoned and wrecked bicycles from public cycle stands in the local area. Please add the one outside 45, Upland road, which has been there for many many months to the list. Thanks for this initiative

  19. 'The drama of change is the balance of loss and gain' @ 26:40 Thanks for posting the BFI link
  20. I'd like to start this again. Looking for one or two others to go out on 20,30,40 milers but at a steady enjoyable pace with breaks for snacks or lunch. Previously it's been an hour and a half one way and back, with rest breaks, so a three hour ride at ten miles per hour is a thirty mile round trip which is a good work out. I'm very open to suggestions Pm me or show your interest here
  21. Thanks to whoever put my lost hat on a bollard for me to find on my way home, Adys Road. Much appreciated

Is that the Stephen who latterly worked as a library assistant at Dulwich library. I know a Stephen who dotted about between Dulwich, Grove Vale and Nunhead libraries? Condolences regardless
  23. Does a local historian have a photograph of Barry Rd, when it wasn't tree lined, from top to bottom, on both sides, as it largely is today ? Thanks
