I can't think of another shop locally where I might have taken in a quality piece of clothing which no longer fitted or suited but be in good condition and been able to sell it, minus a fee. I couldn't get a clear sense of their terms when I asked. It's a shame it didn't succeed, if indeed it failed because of a poor business model.

I see it's a Southwark initiative. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200276/how_can_i_reduce_waste/1790/community_repaint

former East Dulwich councillor - how can I help?
pipsky2008 replied to James Barber's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi James Please tell me to whom I should report a possible fraudulent use of a disabled parking badge. I have asked a parking attendant who said they did not have the authority to inspect the badge and so could not verify if the user was the authorised holder. -
Dear Admin I have tried a number of times to ask a question on Cllr Barbers thread ' East Dulwich Cllr, how can I help? I cannot get the post to register on the thread despite going through the preview and post message way that I've done a number of times? I could PM him but my question may be of interest to others and so though I would ask you if you have had similar messages regarding his thread Many thanks

Hello James Do you know of any councillors borough wide and cross party who are lawyers? Thanks -
Hi all Just to let all contributors know, the cause of the problem was a cable. It was taken out and reinserted, reversed. Extraordinary.. Everything has worked perfectly since then.

Thank you to the passer by and to a member of staff at Puzzle Organico on Rye Lane for helping an elderly gentleman who felt faint and needed a sit down and a glass of water on his way to church this morning.

more in response to ???? remark but meaning if son that studied in secondary school in Ghana is concerned, most secondary education in Equatorial African countries is private. Diane Abbot may have other children of course who attended private school in this country which I am not aware of. I was referring to the one son I know of who Diane chose to have educated in Ghana rather than here in the U.K
-
I think that building would make a great Library instead of the new proposed newlibrary being tucked away behind Morrisons.
-
I don't know how many children Diane Abbot has but a son of hers studied in secondary school in Ghana and is now studying at Cambridge although he may have graduated by now

Renata Hamvas Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Dear all, the Peckham Rye Ward Councillors have > agreed to call this one in to Committee. > Renata Is it normal practice Cllr Dr. Hamvas, for out of ward councillors to take up out of ward matters, or is it that one of the three of you has specialism in planning law and protocol and can intervene on an as and where basis within the borough? -
Yes. Ask Andrew Brock on Shawberry Rd. He has worked with a car body repairer for many years.

Hi If you want to raise this issue and haven't done so already, email the councillors and the L.P.T directly. Cllrs Edwards and Mills don't post here, as far as I'm aware and Cllr Dr.Hamvas may not pick up your thread. Copy in James Barber also as he has offered some background.
