  1. Skin exfoliater for bathing
  2. Also try Health Matters on Lordship Lane. They have clinics for a number of therapists
  3. It's like cash lying around in the street

  5. On the very edge of indifferent. What was wrong with cinema Paradiso at the Magdela. It would seem the economics needed some tweaking but there were the seeds of success

I have lived in London since 1994 now and as an able bodied person have jumped aboard any route master bus in motion as a matter of course.
  7. Good for you Grotty!, I think you did the right thing, but I have a feeling there is a guy, sitting in his Merc, with the engine ticking over, thumbing through his ?50 notes at the end of this.

You raise a very good point here especially point 2 where I would agree, taking out ones ?500 phone and waving it about, to all and sundry, has become quite unconscious.
  9. You raise some good points here.
  10. Sense on Rye Lane. Red Cross too.
  11. I agree with Da Silva. Quite wrong to give such descriptions. I know who is meant by one of those described. Should be removed.
  12. I didn't. I was too busy trying to gather in my spirit that had left my body having been missed by centimetres at 30MPH.

Because of the depth I got a real sense of diving in deep water. An amazing experience
  14. You did all anyone would or could have done. Thank God you're not hurt.
  15. I echo everyone's sentiments. Extremely important to use ones senses, not just what the green man says for you to do. I had a very narrow escape myself about a year ago on the zebra crossing, bottom of Barry Road by someone who waved me accross then put their foot down. A different matter, I appreciate.

  17. Is he the guy with long whiskers who goes there early. Usually reads The Times?
  18. Can a local historian help me trace the grave of a distant relative, listed as having died in 1858 and buried at All Souls Churchyard, Camberwell, London. The Churchyard maybe otherwise previously known as All Souls Newington, also as Grovsner Park and also possibly sometime later, (before it's reversion to All Souls, Camberwell) as St. Michaels, Camberwell. Thankyou Pipsky

Tree huggers, the trees will be ok. This was the purpose behind my and a number of other posters questions on this thread, which just haven't been answered. Ask any of the tree surgeons working on the trees, and I have, and they all say this is bad practice, arboriculturally.

Date noted. Thank you for that Kiera.
  21. In the height of summer now. How do those concerned parties feel about the response to concerns earlier in the year that were raise through local councillors and the contractor,Gristwood & Toms, who undertook the work. Was there ever a reply from the Arboricultural Association by the person who said they would write to them?
  22. Male swimming changing rooms this afternoon, 6pm ish, about four lockers forced. Several phones and cash taken. This may not happen again for ages but be aware of your valuables.
  23. I once called the R.S.P.C.A to an injured fox that I saw from my window, They came and took it away, probably to put it down as an act of mercy as the animal was poorly.
  24. I would also go with you. PM me.
