Hi, just to update. Monarch desk was a bit crazy, conveyor belts did not work so everyone had to lug luggage to cage trolleys, they did not ask any questions to pregnant missus about her bump and we got through. Cabin crew asked no questions either. Getting back will be more interesting i think. We are sitting on the beach now and it's 28 degrees. Maybe we will just stay here.:)

We went to John Lewis to buy a load of stuff, the guy then showed us the buggies. We were set on the Maclaren xlr ( as recommended by friends and friends on here). The chap recommended the babyjogger as it folds very very easily and is versatile too with other products. This is the second shop assistant from two diiferent stores recommending the jogger and being very confident about it. People have different requirements. We don't have issues with stairs. Must say the jogger seems easy to drive one handed whilst holding a latte or mobile phone. We still have not decided though and left that one out for now. Bloody confusing this world of buggies.:-S

Quite happy to go to a spa too but not enough sunshine down there regalia. Doc/midwife letter needs to be dated within 2 weeks of flying so the airline says. Still not sure about the safety aspect though, air pressure etc, although she is in good health.

We had a bad connection for several weeks both wired and wireless. Called virgin and told them we are changing providers due to frustration. After some time on the phone turns out the cable modem was the older type (that connects to a wireless router). They came and switched it for a modern type, no additional wireless router needed anymore. All well now. They don't offer to exchange to new cable modems until the old one plays up.

Monarch writes on their website that they will refuse pregnant ladies over 32 weeks but on the phone say it will be fine with the correct paperwork. So looks like it could be a bit of a gamble this, talking of gambling alright quids, nice to see you on the other side, thanks for your medical advice.(tu)

It will be a 3/4 hour flight to southern Europe, missus being practical and thinks it's best we have time together on hols before baby k comes. Will the cosmic rays affect baby k?

We are seeing the midwives next Tuesday to ask their permission but what are the rules for this? Has anybody flown (in a plane) when pregnant? We are looking to have a week away together before baby karter comes but we will be 33/34 weeks pregnant. Is this safe? Any recommendations? Thanks lovely forumites. edited for spelling.
