Recommendation wanted: Paris hotel or self catering apartment
CamberwellOz replied to Travelimo's topic in The Lounge
I just got back from a weekend in Paris and we always stay ( www.loftparis.fr ) and I highly recommend it. It is just around the corner from Moulin Rouge, right next to a metro station and lots of great patisseries. Ask for Francois. Tell him Michelle told you about it. .....there may be a secret hand shake too >:D< -

CamberwellOz replied to jefferykon08's topic in The Lounge
I once had two cats. -
mockney piers '...eat wolf nipple chips etc.' Brilliant.
-
Thanks for that. I'm going to have a home birth this time round. Now.... did someone say they had cake?
-
If you get the local Southwark News - there was a write up in it about The Magdala.
-
I brought Series One over with me from Aus if anyone is interested.
-
Me! I'm going to have another baby. Two in 20 months. I must be crazy.

If you delete this silly excuse for a website promotion - I might really tell you about some bi experiences. -
You just made me cry in the internet cafe.

Classes for pre-school kids - value for money?
CamberwellOz replied to MrsP's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I have gone to a few taster sessions and really wasn't that impressed. I do use the Sure Smart brochure a lot and I'm surprised at how much they actually do offer for free. I highly recommend you pick a brochure up or download it off the internet. They have singing classes, dance classes and free swimming for pregnant mothers. -
I've always wanted to be She-ra Princess of Power as a child. Now that I am older - I think I'd rather be a character off The Muppet Show. I really do miss The Muppet Show.

We are with Lloyds. We have a Gold Card which is ?11 a month from memory but that includes RAC cover, phone insurance, text messages and other things. We have used all the ones I have mentioned above (our car breaks down a lot... and I lose so many phones) so it works out ok for us.

Oh Bob, you misunderstand. They have tents so they can sleep in them amd catch all those fish in the morning light.
-
They do seem to be fishing. They have been there for about two months. I just keep forgetting to put up a post. They do look like they catch more beer cans than fish.
-
I ride through here, past the pond on the way to work. Why the tents? Why the tents? I don't uderstand.
-
I can't believe you think I'm a man. *Sigh*

Maybe I should have said 'he never uses his credit card on the computer to pay for things for me.' I don't know about his other girlfriends >:D
-
Make that ?8000 on my hubby's card. He rang up on the 24th to cancel the card and these transactions went through on the 28th and 29th. He never uses his credit card in ATM's, or on a computer to pay for things ever. I'm at a loss.
-
All I know is they wake my one year old up at 5.02am every morning because I have the windows open. Damn this summer! When will it get cold again? >:D< (Bet you never thought you'd hear an Aussie say that)
-
My husband's card was cloned. They bought ?3,500 of computers and spent another ?2000 on 'other'. He noticed it because he gets a text sent to his mobile once a week with his balance on his account. I have started to do this as well.

What is the Difference between Australians/Kiwis actually?
CamberwellOz replied to jrussel's topic in The Lounge
It's like the Canada/America thing. Smaller brother gets pissed off about big brother. Big brother doesn't mind. Us Aussies pronounce our vowels maaaaaaaaaaate. Just think of us as people who have been left out in the sun too long. Everything gets elongated and goes up at the end of every sentence. -

CamberwellOz replied to SweetShopDan's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
You have to use Mr. GG Sparkes though. Best meat in the area!
