Hi All, With the sex of the new baby well and truly known (thanks Kings), we have begun to clear out all the boys bits that we were keeping just in case. We have some nice pieces and some useful ones and would like to donate them so that someone else may benefit. Rather than charity shop where they will be sold on; has anyone got any other ideas of a charity that may distribute them to people that need them for free?? ratty

Sad fact is that there are not enough jobs to go round at the moment. However, I am all for the unemployed doing something to earn their corn and to gain some skills. Has to be done fairly though and I doubt that will happen with this lot. One thing has to be said though. Ian Duncan Smith is no longer a carreer politician. The benefits system is his baby and has been for some time. He is not looking to ideological cuts a la Cameron and Gideon. He is looking at a genuine way of making it fairer for all and the taxpayer. God I cannot beieve I am saying this and my father would turn in his grave, but I fairly trust him with this.

When I was a student we rioted against student loans. The police kicked the shit out of us on Westminster Bridge! Student Loans did not stop either. All in all a bad day that left a 17 year old female friend of mine in hospital with a fractured skull and broken jaw courtesy of a truncheon. It will not be the last time we see riots like yesterday. Expect the old bill to start cracking heads!

Black Ops arrived Saturday. Had a little go last night (was awayfor the weekend) and found it quite intense!!

Just an example of how ridiculous air security is: ratty is going to Greece with his 2 year old. as he goes through security an eagle eyed security person spies the tiny metal childs blunt knife in his luggage. ratty is asked to leave it behind. ratty goes to weatherspoons for breakfast and a few pre flight liveners. breakfast is served with a steak knife to cut the bacon. ratty pockets steak knife and walks on to plane. ratty emails gatwick on his return to UK to be told that they do not comment on security procedures! ratty thinks what a bunch of coonts!

The problem with the future of these public fire displays is that they are coming when a whole ton of people from LAs are being made redundant. Whilst this is happening (duration of Tory govt probably) you aint gonna see no bang bangs!

One of the problems with this junction is that the lights very often (east / west) are green for only 2 or 3 seconds. Hence people try to rush through, jumping lights and injuring people. It is so obvious it hurts! Every day I see someone jump this light.
