  2. A bar is opening soon down Rye Lane - The Four Quarters. It has some "vintage" arcade games etc in it. Read about it in the Peckham Peculiar this morning. http://www.theransomnote.co.uk/events/news/bar-dedicated-to-retro-arcade-games-to-open/ https://www.facebook.com/fourquartersbar ETA: A better link

Where does, "it's rolled up its 12 inches tall nothing to do with maths" make that statement make sense?
  7. I don't know why he posted it either. Didn't make sense.

  10. There's a narrow one down near Peckham Rye station. Opposite Bar Story. Ended up in there one evening and it was great. It's about the width of a mini (parked out front)
  11. We played coiny. Throw 2ps (high rollers 5p or 10p) toward curb. Nearest wins the money. Then we went to the bookies! red devil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Cricket?!...Rugby?!...Spot the middle class > neighbourhoods...It was 'Kerby' down our way...2 > kids stand on the pavement on opposite sides of a > road, taking turns to throw a football, aiming to > hit the kerb and bounce the ball back. 12. If you roll a 12x12 carpet up, into a tube shape say. Stand it on one end, would it not be taller than 10ft though?
  13. Cafe syle, Ye Ye. Beers and wines. Could this be a Gallic Inside 72? Hope so.

  15. Cheers for these. Added to the Saturday roster. The snake is already on my TDT playlist ????'s.
  16. The chef James Martin, Saturday Kitchen. His bracelet. Makes my blood boil for some reason.
  17. On a Saturday morning, as I'm getting ready to attack the day with verve I select a tune to listen to as I get out the shower. Generally an uplifting one or something that puts a wee bounce in my step as I'm towelling down. Needing to add to my list of regulars. Today it was this: Any others to add to my playlist of Towel Down Tracks? Thanks
  18. That actually caused me joy Loz. Going to towel down to that before heading to Bishop to sit in in the sun with Surfbobby for a couple of hours. 19. Realising that I've put my Boxershorts on back to front...again.
  20. Ditto above. I have degenerated and bulging discs. Eventually got my GP to actually examine me and not just prescribe codeine which identified it after a scan. I do gentle pilates type exercises to strenghten my core and pelvic floor. There are some gentle exercises on Youtube for it. I was getting physio at Kings for a bit which gave me exercises to do. Really need to keep them up and get into the habit of doing them - even 10 mins before going to bed. As *Bob*/Steveo says its worth those 10 mins rather than the pain generated by being lazy (In my case!).
  21. HP- Yes, I think they use that area as the grass is shorter and is almost like a proper cricket crease. I looked out and saw them playing away tonight and again it was a soft ball. Good to see and they defo look like they are enjoying themselves which is nice to see.
  22. The last tic tac in the box that resolutely refuses to come free from the bottom. Gentle tap with forefinger, nothing. Harder tap with forefinger and index finger, not even a minor movement. Bang box of table, nope still laughing at me. ARRRRRRGH, smashes box with hammer.
  23. The water that accumulates in the mug that I keep my toothbrush in.
  24. They are NOT using a cricket ball. I was behind the wicket and the ball came to rest at my feet so I retrieved it for them. It's a fairly light white rubber ball, spongy really. These guys are well fielding and I can see in no way how folks cannot slightly adjust their route around them. I'm all for these guys.
