How is the whining training going?

I know that Black Cherry had a problem with not being able to use their back garden a few years ago due to complaints. Don't know if it was resolved.

Gosh, those are long hours. Do they serve alcohol?

They are now open later aren't they? Perhaps it is that and smoking outside?

It used to be the only place (except when Grace and Favour served food) to get a nice sandwich, cake or classy fry up when I was looking to buy here. That was in 1996. The whole layout was different as well. It had an upstairs and cute little rooms downstairs. And they served Konditor and Cooke cakes.

You all will have to make do with Fujiyama in Brixton (they do deliver) and then put in a petition to the Japanese Embassy in the meantime.

The main bits they showed were Old Kent Road, Camberwell New Road, Rye Lane and some typical estates which I am thinking were close to Queen's Road. No leafy bits except the park with the hoodies and two staffies. As it's a TV programme they wanted to capitalise on the fear factor. What else would you expect? There are so many different aspects to Peckham and this show is only reinforcing the stupid stereotype.....although they did show the Campari Bar at the end. It was slightly amusing and I will watch the rest of it.

Sushi has been mentioned almost a zillion times already.

I'd like to know legal it is to have John Alan Flowers taking up the space they do on the pavement? I can't believe they own that much of it. It is so close to the crossing and road.......dangerous when you have to move to avoid them. It gets very crowded on the pavement at that end of LL.

Ganapati has a lot of fans. I like it. It is the only South Indian place around here. Supposedly there is a new South Indian vegetarian restaurant being opened up on Lordship Lane by the people who own SMBS foods and the Cheese Block. It is where the old Chopsticks restaurant used to be.

Give Le Chardon a swerve. There is an Ethiopian restaurant in Kennington near Oval tube that was recommended to me by some Ethiopian people who run a food stand at the Elephant and Castle market.

Ryedalema, What does 'who's going to look after you when you are old mean?' That's not a reason to have kids. Hope that's not why you had them. Could start a whole thread about why people chose to have them......

Not all dogs carry worms if they are wormed regularly either by pill or the drops on the back of the neck. Cat poo can pose danger to pregnant women and there doesn't seem to be too much of an outcry about cat owners who allow their cats to roam and excrete in other people's gardens.

In case they were poisoned?

Why don't you call some chemists and ask the pharmacist?

I'd complain to the practice manager and copy it to the GMC. Think the new regime in power is cracking down on doctors who don't speak good English.
