  13. I think, Mr Speaker, that I didnt make my opinion clear enough. I was actually saying that I think on the whole the muslim community are more laid back than the tabs make them out to be. Re: the tad condescending, I heartily agree, but you will notice that at 2am I edited my post from Terribly to A Tad as I felt guilty for telling you off.::o

  19. Good finish EdOldie. This guy who calls himself Jesus
  20. Sean, sometimes, as much as you are lovely and adoreable, you can come across as a tad condescending. I essentially meant that its good to hear the other side of the penny in these (controversial) issues because I believe that they are probably the mainstream opinion and not the opinions portrayed in the press. I do like you awfully and will buy you the biggest drink tomorrow. xxxx
  21. Thats good to hear that Atila, wish everyone had your sense of fairplay.(tu)
  22. Thats true Alan, you've made me feel so much better now. Cant wait for the prezzies and overeating.>:D

  24. I would have loved to have had a little weep at a nativity this year. I took my place in the lovely St Barnabas Church and had an hour of African songs and wait for it.......rapping! I was really disappointed and quietly angry over this. My son has really enjoyed visiting mosques and temples and learning about different religions but even he said that he didnt feel one bit christmasy after their performance. NOT ONE christmas carol was sung. Wrong Wrong Wrong.:(
  25. Should be there about nine as a gang of us girls are making abit of a night of it (some non-forumites). Light supper at G & B, cocktails in black cherry and then we will swagger (not stagger hopefully) up to meet the guys and girls at the Plough.:)-D
