  1. So Bobgod does your Missus know about *Bob*?
  2. No perhaps about it. I'm sure that when he's full of ale is a total nutter. I certainly wouldn't be telling him to put his Guardian in the bin at 11.30pm in the CPT. He'd rip my head off. Psycho Sean they call him. I know what you mean about Mockney. He's wiry and swarthy like a Romany wrestler. Between the two of them they would knock the sh:t out of me then post pictures on flickr to gloat. So what are you going to do about your cyberghost *Bob*? nb can someone put cyberghost on to wikipedia for me...
  3. I think I'm jealous of him. He's a bit of a local celeb and all on the back of being caring, considerate, courteous and an all round good egg. Ever since I saw him on the bus I think I've developed a bit of a man crush. Nothing sexual though.
  4. I fear Alan Dale is doomed. I'm going to get an new identity and only make factual or complimentary or symapthetic posts. You know - like Sean...
  5. Given the popularity of the forum there is a good chance that there are people who have accounts but have now died. If this is not yet the case then it certainly will be in future. I personally find it a bit weird to think that all of my posts will sit here in cyberspace after I've gone. Anyone else bothered by this? I think if I ever get terminally ill I will go back and delete everything or if I die suddenly I will leave details of my log ins to a trusted friend to delete. Would hate to think that my kids might read the insensitive and argumentative ramblings of Alan Dale and think they knew a bit more about their Dad... Needless to say Sean Mac could leave his posts forever and pass them down from one saintly generation to the next...
  6. The amazing real life story of a garden gnome who made it all the way to the NBA..
  7. It's good though. Tell us some more Kyle. What do you want to do for a job? If you would like to be an estate agent then I have a friend at Foxtons who would be happy to look over your CV. Or perhaps you'd like to be an organic butcher or vendor of fine soap... I'm sure you'll find your niche in East Dulwich. How did you find this site? What was it that captured your interest? Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
  8. All you need to to Kyle is marry a Latvian/Lithuanian/Welsh girl. You should be able to pick one up for about ?4,000 but you'd have to pay more for a looker or if you wanted to actually meet her. There are websites that can help. As soon as you're an EU pasport holder then you're in. Unless it's Romanian or Hungarian. Don't get on e of those just because she's a bargain and claims that she loves you. You might end up working in McDonalds in Oradea.
  9. Why do you say that? I was under the impression that it is complete although it only goes back a few years....

Me too. A weekend in Sydney would suffice. Ah well..
  11. So is there a better website than the one I have used? Even so I think that as long as we stick with a single site then the index will be consistent if a little out of date.

So it seems we all agree that long haul holidays are for the unthinking nouveaux. Looking forward to the EDF camping tour of England.
  13. There are ten property sales on the land registry for SE22 which were for over ?1million pounds. http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=se22&f=pd&n=10 Camberwell has recently closed the gap. We have 9 such properties. http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?f=pd&q=se5&n=10 Peckham is a little behind with just 1 http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?f=pd&q=se15&n=10 but look at Dulwich proper 110! http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=se21&s=101&f=pd&n=10 So SE5 or SE22 - who will be first to twenty?
  14. Guy Cowling said- "We are happy to announce the new Cowling & Wilcox Art Shop and Warehouse is NOW OPEN in Camberwell With two busy artist materials shops at Soho and Shoreditch and the pressing need for more storage space we settled on Camberwell as the ideal place for our third shop and warehouse. Camberwell with its village character, its artists, its photographers and designers, its museums and art galleries is a stimulating area. The College of Art is a well-respected institution and when an old garment factory became available, we knew this was the place for us. Following complete refurbishment Camberwell now has a shiny new artists supermarket, probably the largest Art Shop South of the River. There are many good deals to be found around the shop which carries not only all you would expect to find in a modern art shop but also many exclusive and seldom seen lines. We are especially proud of our range of Presentation Books and Archival Storage Boxes and our large range of professional inkjet papers and inks. We offer a 10% discount to students and also courier and local deliveries if requested. ?not just a fine art shop? 6000 sq.ft of fine and graphic artist materials on one floor. Orpheus Street, Denmark Hill. 0845 241 9299 [email protected]" http://www.camberwellonline.co.uk/2007/09/whats-going-on-2/#comment-52633

    Wetherspoons Brendan. Wetherspoons.
  16. If ever there was an inappropriately titled thread. Good luck Amanda. Maurice is right. I would never vote for a god botherer.

Sounds good. Can I bring the Dales? Where's Seany Mac? I thought your Maldives and aerpolanes point would have been a great vehicle for him to demonstrate the self destructive nature of capitalism..

Funny *Bob*. Nice one TT. I am not someone who flies to NZ. I am a reformed flier and now only fly for work. Also I went to NZ on a round the world ticket which is less wasteful than a specific trip. The comment about people being competitive is a reflection of the fact that none of the constituent motivating elements of a trip to the Maldives necessitate a trip there. If people want warm weather and all you can eat catering they need not go beyond Cyprus. Therefore the only reason they do is to show off to their hairdresser or similar...
