They fly over every week - generally down the Thames from Chelsea heliport.

Yes, if it's affecting your right to a peaceful environment. Call Southwark's environmental services team / noise team and record the times and dates its taking place. I managed to get Curry's in Brixton to stop doing 5 am deliveries as the 'this vehicle is reversing' alarm would wake me up every time. Lambeth got them to stop deliveries in anti social hours.

Because your suggestions are frankly stupid and have been proven not to work?

Kryptonites get cut with battery powered angle grinders all the time. -

No, you're choosing to attack the individual, not their comments - so you are just trolling.

I'm not really sure why you adapted that info from here: https://www.quora.com/Are-any-of-the-Beatles-family-US-citizens nor why the national status of their wives has any relevance to the fact that they set up the Northern Songs company and then Apple to minimise their tax exposure? Anyway, we're wandering away from car parking costs... -

Should road bicycle users/cyclists be taxed and insured?

Number plates are legal > on cars etc so why not on bikes? Because it?s nonsensical and a policy topic that has been reviewed by greater minds than yours for years. You sound like this: "Alice laughed: "There's no use trying," she said; "one can't believe impossible things." "I daresay you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Read the answers you were given above. Think about the concept of proportionality. Get back to us when you?ve looked at why it doesn?t exist (apart from in Switzerland and a few random US states)and won?t exist and then get back to us when you process them. -

"or come into conflict with a plague of self righteous passive aggressive cyclists" - you're starting to lose the plot a little. You do realise that cyclists are also likely to be car drivers? Department of Transport figures from 2018 report that 85% of the people aged 18+ who cycled also held a driving licence.

Rendell - I think he doesn't like Sadiq Khan as he's got the wrong skin colour or something. It's amazing how a bit of racism can be spun to complain about tax payers accessible public transport.

I'd imagine if you looked at the funder logos at the bottom, that would have answered it for you - Mayor of London Office, Transport for London, and Excel London as the venue.

Does it need to be in the wall? These types of things: http://www.minoura.jp/english/storage/unavailable/biketower10.html Have a spring in them which lodges them between the floor and the ceiling, and hold x2 bikes easily. -
"You can call it a contradiction if you like. I call it voting against my own self-interest because I felt more strongly about other issues than just the ease with which I can move around Europe, including the ease with which I am able to live here legally. As I've said in an earlier post, I don't want to reduce immigration per se, I just would like to see it controlled and measured, which (theoretically) can allow for better planning of schools, hospitals, roads and other public infrastructure." All of which is currently available (if not applied by the UK Govt) under our EU membership.

Her picture and comments is still on her twitter page. Her association with Muscular Dystrophy UK is no longer there as they quite rightly no longer want to be associated with her red neck views.

Anyone been to Brockwell Lido in the last few days?

It's a balmy 24.7 today. It was a bit like swimming in soup last night. Their twitter page does daily temperature updates: -

Then there's even less reason to give the HM the award! It's not London's best pub and frankly isn't even the best in the area... I did see One Armed Keith at the bus stop by the old post office last week...

Yes, the substation could have been built elsewhere if NR had done the assessment of the capacity needs of the new shops earlier. There's other land available (owned by NR) but that requires them to do more landscaping works etc. Veg and Bakers are now paying approx x3 the rent of their old shops. The butchers closed as they were offered the option of a triple rent increase, the furniture shop had to take a more expensive unit down the road, and trades on the sunday market
