  1. I got the Liverpool correct as well. Aston Villa too.
  2. Thank fuck for that. I should back the Wanderers more often. Kiss of death.
  3. Fcuk me! People getting excited about a fecking advert on the telly. Get a life you saddoes.
  4. I'll admit to being grumpy that Spurs lost and that some people can't show some respect for the fallen and the injured and the mentally scarred of futile wars in foreign lands. I'll be even more grumpy if the Wanderers win at Old Trafford, which I fully expect them too. I'll try not to post again today if that makes you happy. Tomorrow, as a Spurs fan I'll probably have to deal with Gooners rubbing my nose in it that that they are eight points clear of us. Ho! hum. Have a good day.
  5. No. I didn't drink alcohol at all yesterday. What's your problem?

And I think you're talking out of your fecking arse. Anyway, bloody Tottenham Hotspur!
  8. Yeah, fuck them too. Keep your knickers on Mac. If Celtic and their fans can't do a minutes silence out of respect for the dead then their cunts.
  9. Fuck Celtic and fuck their fans.
  10. Get well soon.

Twitter. It's in the word. It's for twits.
  17. How old are you Malumbu? When I was younger I may have stupidly agreed with you out of pure ignorance but I reckon you're nearer my age and you should know better by now. My dad served in the WW2 and all of my uncles and aunties too. I also have two nephews who have served in the Army. One who spent ten years in The Royal Engineers who served in Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Iraq and I am enormously proud of them. They may have been pawns in politicians games but give them some respect. They have seen terrible things which no man or woman (and let's not forget the women who have also bravely served us) would ever want to go through Wear your poppy with pride. We'd be fucked without those young men and women who bravely made so many sacrifices for us in two world wars and beyond. We should remember while the light lasts and in the darkness we should never not forget. Edited a few times because I'm a bit tipsy and my fingers have turned to sausages.
  18. I don't care.
  19. I'm sure PD has a special place in his heart for you, Alan.

I think the off licence you're talking about was on the corner of Lacon Road and North Cross Road. I lived practically next door to it in '85/86. > 5) I remember Elvis taking over from his father > George, so we really all did meet the bloke down > the chip shop swears he's Elvis!! That was a bloody great chish n' fip shop.

I don't blame you for enjoying it while you can. The Wanderers are playing great at the moment and by the way I'm tipping you to win at Old Trafford at the weekend.

    The Patch

There's always Manze in Peckham if you fancy a bit of pie n' mash nearer to home.
  24. Just started Skagboys by Irvine Welsh, a prequel to Trainspotting which has already got me laughing out loud and going urgh! at the same time. Before that I read A Week In December by Sebastian Faulks which I highly recommend as a modern day satire.
  25. Beat me to it RD.
