  1. I think it's great. Much much better than the one up by The Plough.
  2. Blimey, you have to give up the sauce too Quids. Fuck that! Great result. Some good performances too. Rooney, Gerard, Baines and Townsend, all excellent.
  3. Townsend's having a blinder. And, I don't mean the commentator.
  4. The Drifters - Save The Last Dance For Me. Chubby Checker - Let's Twist Again Jeff Beck - Hi Ho Silver Lining The Rolling Stones - Brown Sugar. On repeat forever. ;-(
  5. Indeed. You gotta feel the room.

  7. Sorry to hear about this. One thing though. Most cabbies/taxi drivers still stay outside your house and watch until you have got safely indoors before driving off. Did this not happen?
  8. Aliens from another planet.
  9. Even if your calculation is correct I reckon I'm still paying too much.
  10. I will.
  11. *Guffaws*
  12. ?392.85 a year. I wish I was paying that. I live in a one-bedroom flat. I don't have a meter and my monthly direct debit is ?52.22 a month. That works out ?650.64 a year! WTF! That can't be right can it?
  13. I was wondering when you'd bite PD. *packs up rod and puts bait back in tin and heads home*

Played in the following game - a five-nil defeat of Cyprus and then never played for England again. Disgraceful really as he was a hugely talented player. I'm not going to get carried away with Townsend's debut as impressive as it was. He's still young and got a lot to learn. And PD - would you have agreed with Wiltshire's comment if he'd been a Spurs player or say John Terry had spouted the same thing? I'm not so sure you would. As for Januzaj himself he's played a handful of games for Man Utd so let's not get carried away and he's got five years to wait before he is elegible to play for England. I'm sure he'll choose to play for someone else before then.
  16. Excellent debut from Andros Townsend and capped with a superb goal.

    Fucks sake

My dad loved them. Wouldn't eat anything else.
  18. Someone's gotta say it. Come on England!
  19. Great story. We had Muhammed Ali at mine. Unfortunately, I missed it as I'd bunked off not knowing he was coming. But that's my old school friend Tony Sibleys sparring with the great man himself. http://greatwen.com/2012/01/17/muhammed-ali-in-tulse-hill-1974/
  20. My parents had one very similar to that, Jeremy.
  21. Sorry to be a pendant but the pub is called the Dulwich Wood House. http://www.dulwichwoodhouse.com/
  22. Try the shop underneath the caf? next door to The Palmerston.
  23. Yeah, I went off Tandoori Nights a couple of years ago. Bland and overpriced. Not been back since.
