  1. On my way back from the Lane. Gutted. 1-1 against Stoke just isn't good enough even if they did park the bus. Have to applaud the Arse and well done QPR.
  2. I think The Plough still has one on Thursday.
  3. Jean Paul Satre's Words. An autobiographical account of his childhood growing up with his grandparents after his father had died.
  4. I could have gone to White Hart Lane on Saturday but for some reason chose not to. Glad I didn't go now. Dreadful scenes. Really hope Muamba makes a full recovery. I'll be back there against Stoke City on Wednesday.
  5. I said at the beginning of the season that Man Utd would win the league and nothing has changed my mind since.

  7. Umm....Tony Parsons - Men From The Boys. Like most of his stuff I find it's a bit wet.
  8. Marianne Faithful has done some great stuff of songs from the Weimar Republic.

POAK Salonika if my memory serves me correctly and I was there too. We were playing with kids throughout the whole competition. We weren't interested in the Europa League. Just got to mention that I thought Stevenage were fantastic last night but class prevailed in the end. Defoe has got to play more often. He scored another two fabulous goals last night and a superb backheeled 'goal' that was disallowed for offside. Also feel deeply sorry for Michael Dawson who was carried off in the 3rd minute with ruptured ankle ligaments. It's another bad one for him after coming back recently from another horrible injury. Get well soon.
  10. Indeed. Messi is a genius.
  11. Yeah pity they lost the first leg 4-nil. Did they bottle it second half?
  12. Still in the FA Cup. 3rd in the league. On my to White Hart Lane now. Dream on.
  13. Aw....unlucky, The Arse. It only seems a year ago that Spurs won away at Milan before holding them at home to progress to the next round...
  14. They are new Katie. Huge aren't they.
  15. Was this the same night Stevo?
  16. I think he's Barcelona bound.
  17. And lest we forget
  18. Japan? No fecking way. They were seriously trendy in the early 80s and produced seriously po-faced shite as well. Two thumbs town. Haircut 100 (no, I'm joking. Though Pelican West wasn't a bad album).
  19. Just where would Arsenal be without Van Persie this season? Probably languishing in mid-table.
  20. Started William Boyd's Restless yesterday. Reigned in and hooked from the very first page. Great stuff.
  21. '"Nice one. Geezer!" And that's the way the conversation went.'

I don't where the fuck you get your information from? Perhaps you've forgotten we scored five against Newcastle? OK it's gone a bit tits up since then but we'll be back winning again very soon.
  23. Oh bugger! Thought Spurs played quite well today and then Man U get three chances and stick them all away. That's football. I can't remember the last time we beat Man Utd. Maybe Red Devil can enlighten me on that one. I knew we'd lose today by the way. PS: I've never ever ever seen an Arsenal player dive or cheat in anyway whatsoever. They are so honest those Gooners. They are beyond reproach. And Arsene Wenger's eyesight is the best in the world and he's never ever been known to winge. EVER!
  24. Just finished Nile Rogers bigography now on Beginners by Raymond Carver. Good stuff.
