  1. Goal magazine! I used to read that from cover to cover when I was a boy. Loved it. Happy memories. @Alan Medic - I think the moral of the story is - share and share alike.
  2. He won't be sacked. They are still 4th in the league. He's got a big game next week and even if he loses that (and I so hope they do) he won't be sacked then either.
  3. Yeah well said.
  4. I don't wear aftershave PGC. Maybe I should.
  5. Yeah... very funny. Anyway, looks like Portsmouth have been shafted again and that's not funny at all. I feel for their fans.
  6. Err.. oh yes we have Parkdrive but it was called the European Cup then. You might not know that though because you're an Sorry ratty are we keeping you up?
  7. Really looking forward to those games actually. Four-nil though. That must have hurt.
  8. Clearly, you weren't capable. Ten points. Mind the gap.
  9. What a cock.
  10. Yeah... you could be out of the FA Cup at the weekend too.
  11. I didn't watch the match last night I was out at an Italian restaurant for my birthday dinner. Anyway, heard it was a bit cold in Milan -4 so I'm told.
  12. Certainly not. Couldn't give a monkeys. I'm sure you know yourself that a lot of the posts of a Waitrose coming ED are wind-ups because a lot of the local folk keep wetting themselves at the thought of it. Have a nice day.
  13. Q: What got four legs and more money than Glasgow Rangers? A: Harry Redknapp's dog.
  14. There is no way you could fit a Waitrose in the Old Bank restaurant and for a Sainos in Honor Oak Park forget about it. I think the original post is another wind-up.
  15. What Glasgow Rangers fans are going through at the moment pales in comparison to what the Portsmouth fans have been through over the past few years. Still, I must say it is a very sad day for Scottish football. Where once it was a two horse race there is now only one team in it. Celtic may as well be handed the SPL on a plate now and for the next couple of seasons.

    a joke

    What's six inches long and won't be getting sucked on Valentines Day? . . . . . . . . Whitney Houston's crack pipe.

Went the same way a Lordship Lane station didn't it? Closed around 1955.
  18. They're parakeets not parrots.

Which is very sad. I see all kinds of birds in my back garden but have to say that these days a sparrow is a very rare sight indeed. Oooh look there goes a blue tit.
  20. Yay! If you hate it that much get out and do what you want. Life's too short to be stuck in a boring job.
  21. Yeah. I wish you hadn't bothered.
  22. Why bother.
  23. I believe they'll be doing a tapas style menu along with the usual roasts on a Sunday. I've asked them to do fish pie and got a thumbs up for that.
  24. I was going to mention Magpies but you've beaten me to it.
  25. I always though the name change was silly and pointless. The history of that house is wrapped up in its original name. I've not been back there for about five years. The two dining experiences I had there were pretty awful and I've not heard any good things about it since. Did you dine there over the weekend Stevo? Would you care to tell us about it if you did?
