Well it's about time Maxxi. It's certainly my local choice for viewing the football. All the wood carving is original. I'd hate to see any of that go. I took a couple of pictures for posterity. What I like about the place is it's like two pubs in one. I sat in the old bar on Sunday because I didn't want to watch the Arsenal match. To paraphrase Bill Shankly - "If they were playing in my back garden I'd draw the curtains." The Spitfire's good but so's the Doombar. They do a bloody good pint of Guinness too. It seems a player only has to be given the merest touch in the box (arf!) for them to go down and shout for a penalty which is a very sad reflection on the way the game is played these days. @El Pibe - certainly a potential banana skin for Spurs if ever I saw one. Especially if they play as poorly as they did at Watford on Friday night. I'm off to White Hart Lane tomorrow for the game against Wigan and expecting much better.
