  1. Edited due to cock up.
  2. Dr Taj Hargey, an imam and chairman of the Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford, said: "This is very disturbing and sets a dangerous precedent. "It means that Muslim children are being brainwashed into thinking they must segregate and separate themselves from mainstream society. "The use of taxpayers' money for such institutions should be absolutely opposed. The wearing of the burka or niqab is a tribal custom and these garments are not even mentioned in the Koran." Quite a bit different to wearing a school tie as part of your uniform. And Explaining the school's ethos, Madani's website says: "If we oppose the lifestyle of the west then it does not seem sensible that the teachers and the system, which represents that lifestyle, should educate our children." Then what are you doing here? Fuck off back to middle ages middle eastern values if that's what you want for you and your children.
  3. Hmmmmmmmm....... Anyway I'm hoping for a Spurs win tonight against his Inter-Milan side but I'm not very confident considering the amount players we have out. Not having Ledley King at the back and with Gallas and Bassong as the two remaining centre-halves at our current disposal fills me with dread. I think Samuel Eto'o could have a field day.
  4. Of course. It's from Newsarse Piers. It's their take on his bizarre quotes from yesterday. To quote Rafa - "If you want to ask again what was going on. It's simple. "They changed something and, at the end, they changed everything. "So, white liquid in a bottle: milk. You will know who is to blame. White liquid in a bottle. If I see John the milkman in the Wirral, where I was living, with this bottle I'd say, "It's milk, sure." WTF?
  5. Remember today it was the BANKS that took our money, we paid the bail out. We get the cuts. They get bonuses. Bar stewards!
  6. Rafa's bizarre message in a milk bottle. What the feck is he on? Italians unable to halt Rafa's descent into madness

  8. Pah! Postcode or not it's still East Dulwich to me. Why even the station says so. I wonder if JD Wetherspoon will revert The Vile back to its original name of The Cherry Tree. I'd like to think so but rather doubt it.
  9. Spot on rememberwhen. It was our very own Reggie. The Surburban Pirate

Pah! Naomi Campbell's gorgeous. Just don't get on the wrong side of her. You might get a telephone bashed across your head. Ouch!
  11. I can still remember when the Stab & Crime was a greasy spoon. Bloody good it was too.
  12. I largely agree with you there Sean. I think he could be getting bad advice from his agent (Paul Stretford) too, who has you know will get a very nice cut if and when they sell him.

  14. It isn't.
  15. Down with this sort of thing. British schools where girls must wear the Islamic veil
  16. Apart from JD Wetherspoon. There goes the neighbourhood.
  17. Well, they would say that. Hope it's not a false dawn.
  18. Been chilling to Dot Allison's Afterglow this afternoon. Not played it in a while. Lovely album.
  19. To be fair to the Killer she did say in pursuit of the Champions League though they did lose on a penalty kick (Arf! John Terry) in a final. I too remember when they were shit but I also remember the great teams they had in the late 60s early 70s with Hudson, Osgood, Cooke, Hutchinson etc. I used to go and see them a bit then (70/71/72) and stand in The Shed when I was moonlighting from White Hart Lane and they were a bloody good side to watch.
  20. He's not as sharp as he was but he's still a top class player. There is plenty of competition up front at Spurs so it's hard for him to get a look-in. I think it is entirely possible he could be on the move in January. I think his time is up at Spurs. You're right about Rooney. Vastly over-rated. A very good player against the Wigans and Boltons of this world but doesn't cut the mustard at the highest level. His current form is very poor. Good job Berbatov is doing the business for you.
  21. That bollocks Narnia. Robbie Keane's scored 45 goals for the Republic. You've got to miss some to score some and that's a great goalscoring record he's got there. He's also your record goalscorer. Who else has regularly scored at his rate over the years for Ireland? No one has come remotely close. I reckon you're still pissed off for his penalty miss the other night. Get over it.

  23. "They're not very rigorous the coal mining exams. They ask `who are you?' and I got 75 per-cent on that."
  24. Dumping?
