So you don't think Eduardo would come into that category? Most teams don't have them these days. Jermaine Defoe and Michael Owen are pretty good examples but I can't think of any other players like that at Premiership clubs. They are a dying breed.
  5. They're everywhere bon3yard. You just have to look and you'll find one.
  6. Upstairs at The Magnolia or above The Dog (Crown & Greyhound) in the Dulwich Village.

Arshavin, Eduardo, Vela and Walcott. Ummm....are they not strikers then? Spurs have nine first team players out and we still managed to get a good result at Stoke on Saturday. That's five wins on the trot. Just hope we can keep it going and hang on to fourth and win the FA Cup. Got my ticket for tomorrow's night's replay against Fulham.
  8. With cheese? That is so wrong.
  9. Couldn't care less.
  10. First pint on a Friday. Tottenham winning, Arsenal losing. Deep joy.
  11. Saturday Arsenal 3 West Ham 1 Aston Villa 2 Wolves 1 Everton 2 Bolton 1 Portsmouth 2 Hull City 1 Stoke City 1 Tottenham 3 Sunderland 2 Birmingham 1 Wigan Athletic 2 Burnley 0 Sunday Blackburn 0 Chelsea 3 Fulham 3 Man City 1 Man Utd 2 Liverpool 2
  12. Well done Rosie. Two months though, stingy feckers. At least it gives you the chance to shop around in that time for something else just in case they dump you at the end of those two months and if they decide they no longer need the benefit of your excellent service you can give 'em the finger and tell 'em to shove it when they do. Onwards and upwards.

  14. Bestie was a genius. We all know that. A real shame he never got to play in a World Cup Finals.
  15. Don't be silly Matthew. He's a brilliant player but far too early to compare him with the all-time greats. Amazing result for Fulham.
  16. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Like him in for South Africa I presume Jah? If only he was English. Especially with the current dearth of decent English left backs.
  17. I'm really enjoying Gareth Bale's performances at the moment rather than thinking he's the best left-back in the world but he certainly has the potential to be just that and he's still only 20.

  20. That's probably wishful thinking Mockney.
  21. Messi, Rooney, Ronaldo and Kaka and a little while ago when he was in his pomp Ronaldinho are all exceptional players that bring something different to the table. No doubt at the World Cup we'll see another player come from nowhere to join their little club.
  22. Obviously not the original line-up though Sean. His backing band for a long time now has been The Posies who I saw many years ago supporting, yup you guessed it Teenage Fanclub.

At least I'm from the same city as the team I support. Those conversations have been done to death on here so let's not repeat them. OK. Hands up I was probably in the wrong if you're gonna say I started it. Where were you born - Narnia?
