Right apart from the obvious Fairytale of New York I like: - Saint Etienne's I Was Born On Christmas Day, Elvis Presley's Merry Christmas Baby, Chuck Berry's and Keith Richard's versions of Run Rudolph Run and Darlene Love's Christmas Winterland.

I wasn't overly familiar with their stuff but the little that I'd heard I'd really liked. They were excellent and I really enjoyed their set. I liked the humour in the darkness of the lyrics and and the harmonies were beautiful so I'll definitely be investing in some of their CDs as soon as possible.
Flu jab Brendan? I used to have those every year but now I don't bother but an aggresive nurse waving a hypodermic in my direction rather appeals to my slightly perverse sense of adventure.
I've been feeling a bit rough today too. Went to the Half Moon after work for the comedy and drank vast amounts of Guinness and shots of Bison Polish Vodka. I shall be heading to the pub straight after work for a hair of the dog. It being late Friday afternoon I can honestly say I am absolutely gagging for a pint.
