  1. I don't think they'll be any cash on the table for Harry to bring players in but he's pretty good at wheeling and dealing in the market and our top priority has to be a goalkeeper. Also, Harry has made the best start to a managerial reign at Tottenham for 110 years (five wins and a draw) and ironically the manager at that time, Frank Brettall moved on to manage Portsmouth.
  2. Should be ramned in there then.
  3. Excellent. Well done.
  4. If it wasn't for the fact that our goalkeeper Gomes is a bit like Dracula - he hates crosses - it would have been four-nil to Spurs. Mind you, I agree Liverpool should have had a penalty but we were by far the better team last night. I can't believe the form we're in at the moment since Harry has taken over. I just hope we can keep it going to the end of the season.
  5. Pah! You don't say...So tell me do you not think that some of the men on that other thread haven't been airbrushed too. Well, I've seen the lovely Kelly Brook on numerous occasions as she used go down the Dog quite a lot and I can attest to her beauty. She's bloody gorgeous.
  6. Looks like it will be Spurs Reserves v Liverpool Reserves tonight...so may the best reserve side win. Come On You Spurs!!!
  7. I can't believe we haven't had the lovely Kelly Brook up here yet. A real trouser arouser if ever I saw one.
  8. It's what I live for.
  9. Is this her?....she'll do me.
  10. Which one is Dawn and can I point my pistol at her?
  11. These wicked and evil crimes are absolutely horrific. How on earth anyone can harm a little defenceless, helpless child is beyond me. I tend to side a little with Sue when she says she'd just read the headline rather than upset herself by reading the whole story. You say it "traumatises" you reading about it but aren't you also rubbing your own nose in it by creating a discussion in a thread on these appalling crimes.
  12. Surely Theakstons was independent at first and was then bought out by Scottish & Newcastle Andrew?

  14. I think Rafa will play three or four of the "kids" as you put it but I also reckon that Torres will definitely play even if it's for only an hour or so.
  15. Can't Get You Out Of My Head - Kylie Minogue
  16. karter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > that's why i suggested the Wishing Well, so > everyone can have a clean night for once. I'm up for the Wishing Well but where's the fun in having a clean night? Bollocks to that!!!
  17. Rock My Plimsoll - Jeff Beck Group
  18. Your correct TheePope. Theakstons split in two. Two brothers I think had a disgreement and split the brewery. Old Peculiar, although still a very fine pint isn't quite as it was years ago before the split. BlackSheep is actually a lot like Old Peculier used to be.
  19. Wishful thinking Keef but I feel that our little run could come to an end tomorrow night depending on the team that Rafa Benitez puts out, though of course I hope that Spurs can keep their good run going since Harry Reknapp took over.
  20. Planet Rock - Afrika Bambaataa
  21. Yeah, we haven't done The Woodhouse either. Good call Brendan.
  22. Bankrobber - The Clash.
  23. Adventure Bar? No fecking way. Too small, and no proper beer. I'd settle for the any of the following though...The Dog, the Duke, The Clockhouse, The Plough, Magnolia, The Castle, EDT and CPT. I also really like the sound of doing the Wishing Well as it hasn't been done before even if it is in Peckham, it's a lovely old pub and I also think we should add The Ivy House to the list too.
  24. Quite a few of the family in there Andrew. Good shots one and all. First time I'd been in Hoopers (formerly The Ivanhoe) for more than 20 years and I popped in again early on Sunday afternoon for a couple of snifters seeing as my sister has just moved around the corner it is now her new local so could well be making this place a more regular haunt. Thanks to Jamie and Vivien for making us all welcome. Lovely pub with a great selection of beers and wines and I'm looking forward to eating in soon as well. Nice snug room for the football as well.
