    Great Gigs

Great story giggirl. Be even better if you named and shamed the valley girls in question.
  3. Angel Delight!!!! I used to love that and did the same thing. Butterscotch Angel Delight was absolutely heaven. Must get some soon.
  4. I played the album that this is on for the first time in ages the other day. Produced by Andrew Weatherall and featuring the very lovely Dot Allison. I can't believe it's 15 years old. Where'd the frigging time go? Still, a tune and the album still sounds great. One Dove - White Love
  5. Oh dear the Gooners seem to be slipping a bit. They're not as good as they think they are. Still, at least they're not bottom of the Premiership like we are. Going up the Spurs tonight and hoping for a good win against Dinamo Zagreb.
  6. Very pleased that Barack Obama won and the very best of luck to him. He's going to need it. He's got a very tough job on his hands following the incompetence of the last administration. I'm still amazed that the fuckwits in America voted for Bush not once but twice. No more Neo-cons supporting a puppet and sucking up to big business. No more war pigs.
  7. You're right Jeremy. On paper he should win but I wouldn't right off Jones. I think it'll probably go the distance and Calzaghe can take it on a split decision.
  8. SteveT Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Muhammed Ali was the most exciting heavyweight in > his day, > > but there are those of us who believe that he > never fought a 'level playing field fight' with > Sonny Liston. > > Clay was his name when I was young, and although > he was the fastest and most exciting, he was not > the most durable or toughest, Liston was. > > Perhaps you are too young to remember Jah! I'm not far behind you Tony. Clay as he was then scared the shit out of Liston before the fight even started. Okay there was the long count and talk of the mob but Ali beat him twicec. He had everything, unbelievable hand speed, great feet and was as brave with the heart of a lion. Sonny Liston was an ogre but so was George Foreman and he done him too ten years later with his rope a dope tactics and knocked him out in the eighth round, regaining his world title at 32. Ali is a God.
  9. Lordship Lane to Grove Vale, turn right at Copleston Road, left at Avondale Rise, up the hill keep right and its 30 yards away.
  10. P13 and get off first stop on Avondale Rise, turnaround and walk back up the hill and turn right and it's 30 yards away.
  11. Really? Good grief! Have you never seen Muhammed Ali in his prime? Or Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns. I guess you're too young to have seen those guys.
  12. Roy Jones Jnr is a legend but at 39 it just might be a fight too far. The only way I can see Calzaghe winning this is on points and that'll probably be a split decision. He'll have to be extremely busy, keep bobbing and weaving and throwing punches to try and wear Jones down. I still think Jones will probably have enough firepower left in the tank to win though, probabably on a stoppage around the eighth round. Should be a good fight and I'm hoping that Joe can pull it off.
  13. Oh! feck yeah!
  14. Yeah deffo. I'm much more concerned about Jordan and Peter Andre getting back together aren't you? Oh! and isn't there some sort of election going on this week somewhere? Err....? John McCain, doesn't he make those very tasty oven chips?
  15. You're Gorgeous - Baby Bird
  16. Yawns...this is so last week.
  17. Indeed. I think Tony was thinking more in the line of swiped items rather than swapped. Carry on being nice. It's nice to be nice.
  18. BANG!
  19. *Walks in...lights blue touch paper....stands well back.*
  20. I don't think you quite got that did you pros. I think you'll find Tony is pulling your plonker.
  21. "Thou shalt not spilleth thine pint."
  22. Bring it on...Come on you Spurs!!!!
  23. Thanks very much PGC...but I tell ya. This is how good I'm feeling. Bo Diddley
  24. What an awful waste of beer. Shocking SteveT. Absolutely shocking. Frankly, Mr T I'm absolutely appalled.
  25. You can't imagine how I'm feeling. We've had such a piss poor start to the season with everyone taking the fecking piss. It's been horrendous, fecking horrible. But this week has been fecking brilliant, so I'm well happy. Yee ha!
