I'm not far behind you Tony. Clay as he was then scared the shit out of Liston before the fight even started. Okay there was the long count and talk of the mob but Ali beat him twicec. He had everything, unbelievable hand speed, great feet and was as brave with the heart of a lion. Sonny Liston was an ogre but so was George Foreman and he done him too ten years later with his rope a dope tactics and knocked him out in the eighth round, regaining his world title at 32. Ali is a God.
  2. Lordship Lane to Grove Vale, turn right at Copleston Road, left at Avondale Rise, up the hill keep right and its 30 yards away.
  3. P13 and get off first stop on Avondale Rise, turnaround and walk back up the hill and turn right and it's 30 yards away.
  4. Really? Good grief! Have you never seen Muhammed Ali in his prime? Or Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns. I guess you're too young to have seen those guys.
  5. Roy Jones Jnr is a legend but at 39 it just might be a fight too far. The only way I can see Calzaghe winning this is on points and that'll probably be a split decision. He'll have to be extremely busy, keep bobbing and weaving and throwing punches to try and wear Jones down. I still think Jones will probably have enough firepower left in the tank to win though, probabably on a stoppage around the eighth round. Should be a good fight and I'm hoping that Joe can pull it off.
  6. Oh! feck yeah!
  7. Yeah deffo. I'm much more concerned about Jordan and Peter Andre getting back together aren't you? Oh! and isn't there some sort of election going on this week somewhere? Err....? John McCain, doesn't he make those very tasty oven chips?
  8. You're Gorgeous - Baby Bird
  9. Yawns...this is so last week.
  10. Indeed. I think Tony was thinking more in the line of swiped items rather than swapped. Carry on being nice. It's nice to be nice.

  17. What an awful waste of beer. Shocking SteveT. Absolutely shocking. Frankly, Mr T I'm absolutely appalled.
  18. You can't imagine how I'm feeling. We've had such a piss poor start to the season with everyone taking the fecking piss. It's been horrendous, fecking horrible. But this week has been fecking brilliant, so I'm well happy. Yee ha!

  23. I hope you'll be very happy then. But don't say I didn't warn you.
  24. So Spurs will be okay then. Glad you kept them out of that little line-up. Stoke, West Brom and Bolton for me.
  25. We've been here before on the subject of this property. Unfortunately this place has had it. Any plans for the preservation of this fabulous old building should have happened decades ago. There is already a facsimile of the original building behind it. Frankly, it's an eyesore and has been for far too long. The sooner the old dear is demolished the better. HB: Peter Perratt has long been a resident of Forest Hill but I'd be surprised if even he considered squatting here in the past even when he was going through the worst ravages of his heroin addiction.
