  1. All of this sort stuff used to go on when I was teenager. Nothing's changed has it? Just bored kids thinking it's big and clever, which it isn't. I even stupidly indulged myself a couple of times when I was a youngster but it's still dangerous and very stupid nonetheless. Nothing will change until fireworks are outlawed for private use.
  2. "I was a wretch headed for a life of drug crime and violence and my Pastor encouraged me to try Stareathon. I struggled at first, but gradually, match by match, I gained the respect of my peers and found my identity. And look at me today. I can make dogs defecate just by staring at them from twenty paces. Stareathon turned me from the dark side. Now I run a thriving dog-walking service. Think again, Bro!"
  3. Don't Look At Me! I'm irrelevant!
  4. Might just pop in for this as my sister has recently moved in nearby. Fifty yards from Hoopers and fifty yards to the nearby off licence. Good work I'd say.
  5. Yeah! He can teach the back four to hold up the hands and appeal for offside. Him and Donkey were particularly good at that back in their Highbury days.
  6. The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man - Rolling Stones
  7. Waiting On A Friend - The Rolling Stones
  8. I hope you're serious David. Similarly, I had a friend whose husband after dying of sclerosis of the liver went out to Motorhead's Ace Of Spades. I want Last Orders Please by the Faces at mine.
  9. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Alan Ball get every club he ever managed relegated at some point? Great player/crap manager.
  10. Tired Of Being Alone - Al Green
  11. Eddie and I have a lot in common.
  12. Nice one David. I remember going to see that at the flicks when it came out. I still have the single of that track. It's by Barry De Vorzon or something like that. Top tune.
  13. Oh yeah...you're right. Such a long time ago I'd forgotten. Didn't last long did it.
  14. Oh! here some more... Ween - Buenas Tardes Amigo
  15. I don't think we've had this band on here before and so it's about time we did. Tune! Good video too. Ween - Rose Are Free
  16. "Redknapp's son Jamie could also be joining the staff" at Spurs. "Could" being the operative word Sean. Just the usual press speculation bollocks.
  17. White Chalk - P J Harvey

  19. I'm watching it at a mate's house Sean with some fellow Spurs fans. Pretty damned sure I wouldn't be able to take the ribbing from any Gooners after the inevitable thrashing that I'm pretty sure is coming our way. One swallow doesn't make a summer and we're not out of the woods yet by a long shot and other cliches.
  20. Yeah. Gross by name Gross by nature. He was shit. Cheer up ratty, it's not the end of the world. Portsmouth have become a very good and competitive club under Harry Redknapp and he has left you in a realitvely good position with good players. You've got a short memory. Pompey hadn't been in the top division since the 50s or 60s until Harry arrived at the club and you even won the FA Cup last year under him. You seem to have forgotten that.
  21. Broken Dreams ratty? Good choice. Being a lifelong Tottenham supporter I've had plenty of them. Now, a new goalkeeper would be a good start as Gomez is bloody useless and doesn't inspire confidence in what is already a shaky defence. He's worse than Calamity James on a bad day, so you can keep him.
  22. You're welcome.:)-D
  23. Dress - P J Harvey
  24. Forgot to mention I was at the game yesterday. I couldn't believe the abuse that Gary Megson was getting from the Bolton fans. What's the betting he's the next for the sack?
  25. SeanMacGabhann Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- Is this what happens as you get older... > being sensible kicks in??? Sensible? Sensible? Are you kidding? Don't be silly. If you follow my example then you'll know it's not true. I went out for a drink early on Friday afternoon, carried on right through the night, next morning and afternoon. Had a couple of hours kip early in the evening, back out for a dinner party and then for a few drinks before last orders on Saturday night. That's the trouble with the younger generation, no fecking staying power. Bunch of wussies!
