Harry boy hasn't lost a game at Upton Park since he first went to Portsmouth. That's pretty impressive. Bet he was blowing bubbles all the way home. You're right though Piers it's mid-table mediocrity for both of us this season but at least Spurs have a cup in the cabinet which is more than you can say about the Arsenal who have just gone out of another competition. Sorry, just had to get that one in.

Actually Wee Quinnie that wasn't quite right. What I meant to say was "5-1 to the Tottenham, 5-1 to the Tottenham." Now that's infectious especially when you haven't beaten the Arsenal in nine years.

What Keef said and well done Ladygooner, gracious in defeat. Arsenal can consider themselves a little unlucky but I thought overall Liverpool deserved to win and I hope they can go on and lift the trophy again.

*Hmmm...that's not saying much. Pours another balloon glass of brandy and offers it to KK. I think you might need this love. Offers one to MP and fills own glass almost to the brim, takes enormous slug and slumps back into lovely comfy armchair.

No rotting corpses in here please. Terrible stink. Although there is a lovely open fire in the middle of the room if you want to cremate yourself. Saves us the trouble. *Reaches for large balloon glass and pours self enormous brandy, takes a seat in large armchair by the fire and tosses a few logs on to get a good fire burning.*

Obviously Liverpool have a slight advantage with their away goal but we saw what Arsenal are capable of after a 0-0 draw at the Emirates, they went over to Milan and got a fabulous result. I wouldn't like to bet on this one as it could still go either way but I think whoever scores first will win the match but then again I could be wrong.
