There was no reason at all for Van Gaal's abysmal selection last night apart from maybe sticking those players in the shop window and if that was the case I don't think they'll be any takers before the shop window shuts next week.

For those of you who don't know what you're getting into. I think most people who've done the 'challenge' might not be too happy with a lot of what the money is being spent on whether they've donated or not. http://worldtruth.tv/als-ice-bucket-challenge-do-you-know-what-you-are-supporting/
Agree, LVG needs the right personnel to play with three at the back and the players at his disposable just aren't there. His selection last night was baffling. As I posted earlier ?132 million spent already this season and they are still at least three or four players short of a decent team/squad. I repeat - it's a massive rebuild at Old Trafford. There is no quick fix no matter how much money you spend or what manager you bring in. These things take time. You just have to look at what happened at Liverpool. Their current resurgence hasn't happened overnight.
Scottish football just became even more Mickey Mouse than ever. As for Man United's pitiful performance you can understand what their priorities are this season and it wasn't the League Cup.

In principle you're correct but we all know it was Murdoch's money funded the whole thing and that money paid for a legal team that dwarfed the prosecution's legal costs into the ground so much so that she got off. I still feel she's guilty as hell but that money wielded the power to get her off. Also, the ?100 million that News International has also had to pay out for other legal damages etc etc and her pay-off beggars belief. These are rich powerful arrogant people with connections in high places. I just find the whole thing very distasteful. But of course they are perfectly within their rights - the bastards!
Try supporting a small, local charity instead - they are probably desperate for both volunteers and funds. Also, they can't afford professional fund-raisers, chuggers or get celebrity endorsement.

Many moons ago when I was off the sauce I found non-alcoholic beer revolting and as others have noted they go right through you and give you a headache. Who wants a hangover without the fun of getting pissed beforehand? However, my drink of choice at that time was lime and soda with ice and a slice.
So Man Utd pay ?60 million for Angel Di Maria (overpriced in my opinion) and takes their spending this season to ?132 million and they are still three or four players short of a decent squad. It's going to be a long and very expensive rebuild at Old Trafford.
Didn't see it but it's early days and you've got nine new players to bed in. That's two more than Spurs last season. So by my reckoning seeing as we finished sixth back then Liverpool will finish eighth.
Injuries didn't help either. The same goes for Capoue who looked really solid especially when covering for the full-backs as they went forward. I think Sandro will find it tough to get back in the side. Dier has also proved to be a shrewd purchase. Anyway, the real test is when Spurs play a halfway decent team. Umm.... Liverpool next.... *Shudders*
I'm with SJ and Quids on this. Those texts are absolutely shameful and for it to be written off as banter by the managers association is a bloody disgrace. There is absolutely no room in society for racism. And as for rent-a-gob Harry coming out and trying to defend Mackay is not only ridiculous but he has seriously made a complete tit of himself.
