  1. Or even worse - balding with grey hair and a ponytail.
  2. Good to see Glenn Hoddle back in the game as QPR's first team coach. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28755737
  3. I love it too. Dave Mackay, a proper footballing legend.
  4. Yeah, bit late with that one, Rolo. From last season.
  5. I haven't.
  6. One of your hand grenades AM. No thanks, I'll stick with what we've got. Nothing wrong with it as far as I can see.
  7. Thanks but I think that should be the other way round.
  8. Jammy barstewards.
  9. It would great to see The Grove Tavern up and running again. I'd hate to see it go the same way as The Heber, The Oglander, Moore Park Hotel and Hoopers.
  10. It is.
  11. Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. I'm happy today as I've always been. Pubs were good and bad in the past just as they are today.
  12. Sorry Mick, I don't like to hit a man when he's down but you must have seen this coming.
  13. I remember the pubs of Smithfield Market after an all nighter at the Heavenly Social e'd off me tits. But even before then working with an old fella on The Sporting Life who'd lie to his wife saying he had to be in the office early and head straight to one of those boozers at six in the morning for half a dozen large gins before he started his shift on the Greyhound desk. By 10.30 he'd be banging on the door of "The Stab" to let him in for more. RIP Albert "Let me in yer bastards" Bright.

Bad appointment. Oh hang on, it could be worse. What was that you saying about ducking into the Europa Cup?
  15. Croydon.
  16. Great golf bores of our time. Major Titherly Gibble explains that women don't exist in the laws of golf - something the Armed Response Unit is happy to point out to any woman who fails to grasp this simple fact.
  17. I very rarely eat kebabs myself but quite a few people do, especially after the pubs have shut. So, putting your prejudice aside for one moment if it was an artisan bakery or a new sushi restaurant opening up on that strip of road you'd probably be wetting yourselves with glee and wishing them good luck in anticipation of gorging yourselves in East Dulwich's lastest swanky eatery. Bunch of fecking snobs.
  18. Well said Spark67 and good luck Ash kebabs.

  21. Depends who you ask.
  22. Yeah, I do. Also for a while during the 80s there was a seafood stall outside the EDT.
