  5. That's been there for ages.
  6. They still need to replace Carlos Puyol at the back as well.

  8. So Suarez, Messi and Naymar in the Barcelona attack. That is fooking scary.

  10. I remember Terry Venables telling a story about the how the legendary Spurs skipper Dave Mackay could volley a ball hard against a wall from 20 yards 40/50 times without letting it bounce on the ground. That's pretty amazing too.

I went in there on Sunday afternoon and was served immediately. I was shocked I can tell you (and in the small bar too). Later on I went in and bought a round of drinks in the main bar and they repeated the trick. I couldn't believe it. That's rarely happened in the 40 years I've been going in there. I'm still in shock.
  16. On a similar note - people who just barge right past you instead saying "excuse me" so you can get out of their way. Cunts!
  17. Neither of 'em are as good as Pele though.

Knew that but didn't think it would this early in the summer. Rather thought it would be middle of September.

Oh, please let it be true. Fullers ESB. That's the one for me.
  20. Phew! Thank heavens for that.

Is it the start of building work or has it genuinely "caved in?"

Yes it's reassuring to know that in response of the government's paedophile cover-up stories the government has decided to order a new and comprehensive cover up.
  23. By far the worst Brazilian team I've ever seen. That's not to take anything away from Germany who were magnificent. I had Germany down for a two-nil win but never expected that. It was game over after 20 minutes.
  24. I wouldn't bank on it, Jeremy.
  25. I hope it's true about The Capitol reverting back to a cinema. It's what it was built for in the first place. I used to go there when I was a kid and the one on Grove Vale too.
