  1. Not shame on you, but shame as in too bad, there must be tons of Enterprise vans in the streets at any one time, so it's not going to be easy to pin one down without a reg number.
  2. Agree with first mate. There was a thread on here a while ago about someone on Melbourne Grove (I think) who was eventually caught early one morning doing this.

Just wondered if they could enforce, or if it is all for show.
  4. Does that mean that the Lister has access to your medical records, even if you are with another surgery?
  5. I'd like to know why the DVLA give out addresses for registration numbers. I have had several letters re parking in the Lidl car park, and never acknowledged any of them. No action was taken. Would also like to know ab out the Morrison's car park in Camberwell. They have threatening signs up all over the place.
  6. How has the law changed?
  7. It was lovely to see the tree covered with lights the other evening. Well done Goose Green school!
  8. What road are you referring to? Must say the roads round here are fine.
  9. I used Walsh once a while back for front door glass and they matched it.
  10. Think it means that they have been deleted.
  11. If I go away, I ask neighbours to put the bins back. If I come back and the bins are in the path, then I either push them with my foot to make space,if I am carrying something, or move them manually. If they tip over, then I would put in the house what I was carrying and then come back out and right them. Sometimes the bin men even leave the lids open! No doubt there will be people who would complain about that. I am grateful to have wheelie bins at all, to keep the foxes out of the rubbish. If one disappears, then Southwark replaces it, free of charge, or if you need more another one they will also give it to you, again free of charge.
  12. They work out cheaper than the crusty rolls sold by Ayres, and last longer.

  14. The Poilane sourdough bread lasts at least 4 days, sometimes 5, and makes wonderful toast.
  15. Someone with a baby can't move her bin or her elderly neighbour's bin? Seriously? If you can carry a baby, you can move a bin.
  16. His character was the same before the sad event in his life.
  17. Re rubbish bins vanishing, one used to be at the corner of Muschamp and Oglander, and another was at the corner of Ondine and Marsden. There also used to be a dog poo bin in Everthorpe Road, at the Oxenford end, which disappeared, some time ago. I realise these roads aren't in your area, but thought I would mention them.
  18. I went there a few times to look for a dog and came away in tears. Some of the dogs are angry and upset, some are quiet and upset, and some are pleading with you to take them home. It's not a petting zoo. When I went, most of them were staffy type dogs. You can look at the dogs on their website. There is also a farm in New Malden. One of the sheep from there is often at the Herne Hill Market. I think you would be better finding dog owners with child friendly dogs at the parks who will allow your little boy to pet their dogs. My dog is very friendly and responds well to children petting her.
  19. Agree with LauraLou, used to own one, and never again. I had a terrible battle with Southwark, contesting all the bills, it was draining, stressful and depressing.
  20. Blackbird?
  21. The Blackbird Bakery ones are usually good, but saw some last week and they look very titchy for 60 pence each. And, if you buy them in a box you get charged even more! The ones from Konditor and Cook are good, but not inexpensive.
  22. Who said Ayres is cheap or cheaper?
  23. They definitely do take-away.
