i've been lazy and not read the whole thread; but i'd like to recommend Daniel Kitson (although i'm sure most know him already, Brendon Burns, Doug Stanhope & Louis CK. Ricky Gervais should always be mentioned in passing for the Office, but nothing else he's done has come close. I think the xfm podcasts are overrated, extras was boring, his stand up is awful, an idiot abroad was TERRIBLE, and i've not seen Derek and don't want to.

How toothless are arsenal at the moment? they have very little of substance going for them. Lots of posession in the middle third, but no cutting edge up front and a shambles at the back. I don't think it's a co-incidence that Walcott hasn't scored since the end of the transfer window, when he signed his new ?100k a week contract. If as a club you have average players like Walcott holding you to ransom then you're in trouble.

a good old fashioned greasy spoon was ok back when i was a student and cared not for the quality of produce i was putting in my body- but frankly the food they serve is so cheap and so nasty; and there are so many decent breakfast cafe's in the area that there's no excuse any more I'd much rather pay ?8 for a full breakfast that doesn't contain value sausages, value bacon and value beans than ?6 for one that does.

I used to her find her a lot more annoying. She seems quite likeable and witty now; although i've not seen her sitcom. British sitcoms in general are dreadful- I think Grandma's House was the last half decent one.

Probably a boring reply, but me and the other half are both of the opinion that there's nothing less romantic than 'reinforcing' your love for each other on the same day as everyone else. Would both rather do something on a day more personal to us.

I intimated in an earlier post that it was mainly men that cycle selfishly and dangerously. I was waiting at the Cycle lane traffic light at the top of Rye Lane last night for it to change when 6 people cycled through it red. All girls. Then i had to swerve out of the way of one of them as she was weaving all over the road (with buses passing, and children crossing) because she wasn't watching the road, rather she was texting someone. I'm going to start being less British about this and start confronting other cyclists. It drives me mad.
