Give them a break Yes- there was one in Townley walking towards Lordship Lane last week in the mid morning , and on his own...I don't blame them for not being on the streets given the awful recent assaults and the attitude of some people

  6. It seems SE22 is up there in the violent crime stats https://www.ukcrimestats.com/Postcode_Districts/SE22/ First I'd heard of this that happened last year- not far from me. It would be useful to be warned of these crimes in the area for those who do not read the Southwark news. https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/couple-held-at-knife-point-by-masked-burglars-in-east-dulwich-home/

It could be a problem at any stage of production. There are several companies in the UK that carry out the QC and QA and they are answerable to USA standards as well as EU standards
  8. Yes- I vote according to the manifesto that is put out there...who cares who the figure head is....unfortunately the number of U turns they all do is pretty alarming

  11. This is going to increase pollution around the other side of LL as people drive round and round to find a space. I frequently walk from Goodrich Road to North Cross and you see the same cars coming backwards and forwards...it can only get worse
  12. Those sellers of dishcloths etc should have an ID on them....all the ones that have come to my door have had one...(btw I saw a beat cop in LL at midday today- no sarcasm intended!)

  14. thank goodness it's raining- all the horrible pollution gets washed down the drain!
  15. I hope this is not another spin-off from the scheme...burning the garden waste... Last evening, as soon as it was dark, someone in the area near Heber school started a bonfire which burned for hours....it smelled like wood that was burning. The whole house was full of smoke- as was everyone's, I daresay, as who did not have windows open?.I was just glad that my asthmatic daughter was not staying as it would have been horrible for her. Barbecues are bad enough in this area but bonfires as well.

Not necessarily- I was in a seaside town on Thursday and 4 police cars turned up sirens blaring and the police swooped into the park to arrest 1 drunk man ...he was completely legless - there was a woman there shouting ...but 10 cops?
  17. you're lucky- when the house next to me was converted they turned up and used power tools at 7am on Saturday and Sunday too! Nobody should have to put up with any of that.
  18. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/07/21/garish-new-water-fountains-london-criticised-failing-emulate/ Not nice... You can get free water in at least one shop...I noticed a sign in the window of the Rum Lounge in North Cross Road

Also do not think that it is only youngsters that do this. Around East Dulwich there were grown men writing small graffiti 'messages' on a lot of public buildings and structures at one time.
  20. Some places- like Tyneham Village- are in the MOD ranges which are not open to the public all year round https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/lulworth-access-times
  21. selfish people will turn a blind eye as their dog defecates on the grass/pavement. These 'people' are irresponsible and will not change. Collect up the dog poo- follow them home and put it on their front door step....and if you have a child in nappies you could add their offerings too

Judging by the amount of air space boxed off by all the ugly extensions around here- they already are!
  23. Brendan Grace who played father Stack in father Ted...he's..."had his fun, and that's all that matters..."
  24. I looked here because I thought there was going to be some earth shattering news about the black cabs parked up on Crystal Palace Road...oh well...

It's in Italy...it's a brilliant idea because the whole point of them is the appearance. The noise is awful. When those horrible ones that sound like bombs came out I felt sorry for the older people who had lived through the war.
